Hamlins been a surprise...a pleasant surprise..Roy will come up big, just wait. This team Defense showed its spark of dominance for a quarter and a half against Favre. They need practice but im sure they'll reach that level by playoffs.

Roy bashers have one thing in common. They all fail to see the bigger picture, which is that Roy is going to do what he's told is best for his team.

He hasn't had to be the deep guy in every formation under Wade's defense.

Now, he comes off the field at times. He hasn't been a baby about that either.

This year, they've kind of built the defense around some of his abilities and they've minimized his weaknesses by using different personnel packages. I think this unit looks better than San Diego's defense looked last year.

Other than obvious deep passing situations, he's done nothing but help this team win games.

We're 11-1.

Now whose fault is that 1 game that we lost?

If you actually took time to read what people had to say then you'd know the answer to that question.

Go back and read or search my posts to see what I think.

But to be civil I said he is an above average safety. Marginally above average. What torques me about Roy is I've and you have seen much better play from him. Unless he's hurt I totally do not understand why he doesn't actually play like a Pro Bowl safety. He's getting paid like one. He used to play better. What's the problem?

The responses you cited were all in response to people just blatantly saying that Roy SUCKS... not that he isn't playing at a high level anymore.. not that he's doing OK but could play better. So, with crazy statements you get extreme responses.

I like how they are using him now....he is getting more comfortable....and coming out in selected packages seems to have him more focused.

Exactly they qualify his coverage duties to minimize his liabilities in that area.
