As a Buckeyes/Cowboys fan, no one loves them some Zeke more than I do. However, in Columbus, Elliott had an irritating habit of giving the "feed me" spooning motion every other time he carried the ball. Never mind that he got "fed" enough to finish second all-time in rushing yards in Buckeyes history in less than 3 seasons. Urban Meyer ignored it, as he tends to do with his star players. Now, Elliott has taken his show to Dallas. Zeke, this is professional football, & you're a rookie. It is not your place to demand touches from the coaching staff. It is your place to take the carries they call for you, make the most of them, & shut up. So, please stop showing up your coaches & fellow RBs with your antics. You've carried the ball 94 times so far this season, more than any other back in the NFL--great backs who have earned their way in this league. Your backup ran for the second most yards in the NFL the four seasons leading up to this one. Show him & your coaches some respect & stop insisting you get every freaking carry on every play.

I am just glad for Muhammad Ali. I get the WW2 generation not liking it because of the realities of war but Ali broke the brashness barrier for the rest of us.

It's football, the milieu of the immature, silly male athlete. What do you expect?

As long as he keeps producing on the field, isn't a cancer, stays away from the kind of trouble that can lead to a suspension, doesn't incur untimely costly penalties, Zeke can make all the sophomoric gestures his little heart pleases. Feed the man-child.

I don't mind the feed me thing a bit. He might be referring to the coaching staff with it, but what he's really doing is telling the defense he can do this all day long. I can't imagine the coaches having a problem with it.

I like it. It's felt like we've had a team that lacked personality in recent years.

The NFL as a whole lacks it. The rules have really stifled personalities. The league wants everyone to be just another number under a helmet, the brand is the always #1, and they probably wonder why the TV ratings are down this year.

The game was a lot more fun when you had players to passionately root for and root against. The days of Chad Johnson/Terrell Owens taunting opponents and opposing fans were fun. You either tuned in to see them get beat, or beat someone, but either way you tuned in.

I agree with this 100% I think it makes him look childish.

I could care less what he does, all I know is that I am pretty much on the edge of my seat when he touches the ball knowing something exciting is about to happen

Michael Irvin would stand on the sideline loudly demanding the ball. Dez and other No. 1 receivers do the same thing. If the worst thing that Elliott does is make a feeding motion, even if it is kind of silly, I don't think it's anything to get upset about.
