Let's make a deal. As long as he LEADS THE LEAGUE IN RUSHING, he can do what he wants as long as it isn't a distraction and doesn't draw a flag. Fair?

I think a better deal would be stop asking for the ball when youve had it more than anyone else in the league. Thats just me though. I think ive aged out of the "feed me" and "money" gestures and im getting passed by.

Then again...maybe he just needs to grow up. Antonio Brown toned down the first down celebrations, so maybe zeke will establish himself as the best back in the league and get some perspective.

As the RB in the offense, he is in a unique position to tell when the defense is starting to wear out and is beginning to have a more difficult time stopping the run.

I merely look at it as Elliott letting the coaches know the defense is tiring... so keep bludgeoning them with the run game.

Might just be me though.

Zeke knows, unless he reminds JG constantly, JG will forget about the run and pass 50 times a game.

the entire league is full of people doing these stupid things...

scripted celebrations are idiotic and not really a "celebration" of anything to be honest

simulating a spoon feeding food into your mouth isn't a show of "passion", LOL...

once you get passed the fact that you're watching a bunch of people hold onto a ball and run pretty fast with it until they reach a patch of grass that has been spray painted a different color, all the silly **** becomes a lot easier to stomach

Got to keep it in perspective.

I see so many people complaining about this, they must not have watched him in college.

Fair.. but would you trade LEADING THE LEAGUE IN RUSHING for the gesture after big runs?

As much as they're feeding him, he's gonna get chunky.....lol

I don't mind the gestures and emotion as long as he doesn't go Full OBJ. The only concerns I have is over use. I know he's young, but with his power style and the NFL schedule being longer, the concern is to keep him fresh and uninjured for the last third or so of the season. I would like to see a little more Morris, just a few more carries, to help keep some of the wear and tear off Zeke.

I agree, but save it for the important drive when you are eating that defense up, an important game, or even games in December when we're still in contention, and the playoffs.

Not directed at **, I dont think anyone is complaining or saying it makes them mad....Its just annoying, ridiculous, and redundant when you do it multiple times per game, every game, the first 4 games of your career, and the first 4 games of the season. It would pump me up as a fan if he knew WHEN to do it for maximum effect, instead Im rolling my eyes after the 3rd one of the game. Love the pick, love the kid, and the success he is starting have.....just not the overkill of this because it makes him look like a child playing little league copying something he saw on tv.

I don't mind it at all. I like personality and unique stuff.

However, signature schtick is a lot better if it's not over-used. He's over-using it.

Just tell him to cut back,,, everything loses it's appeal once you've seen it 50,000 times,,, except Salma Hayek of course.

It looks stupid & he'll continue to do it & if we lose again in the future, I'm sure others will use that gesture to mock him.
