Yes it was the right call. Ballsy. But that's not like Garrett to go for it in that situation. Maybe redball is learning to go with his gut a little but.
No way...his gut would never do anything like that.

Was it really a gamble? We ran roughshod through the Commanders the entire game.
Not a gamble but uncharacteristic for sure. It starts with a mind set first sarge.. we need that Garrett not the coward clapper.

Some of our fans are invested in failure. Their worst nightmare is that JG actually wins something.

I hope he does, because I don't trust Jerrah to hire someone better. He'd probably bring in someone like Tommy Tuberville.

This is good. As much as I despise Garrett, we really can't be successful with Jerruh's cardiovascular and pulmonary functions continuing to be operable.

Give it up for Jason Garrett.
Garrett is 10-5 against Washington. Won the last 5 there. How many coaches have done that against a division rival? In their house?
Plus he doesn't wear a hat in the pouring rain. How tough is that?
Getting tired of all the complainers constant crying about him in game threads.
Big win. Skins are done.

This isnt even worth responding to. Garrett has already established himself as sub standard coach. A championship is about the only thing he can do to bring his head above water.

The ONLY way so many fans of a team DONT like the head coach is if he is obviously a joke. You have to wonder why so many fans dont like Garrett. Its certainly not some stupid idea that people just love to hate their own team.

Zimmer had to have Campo step in and save him when his defense allowed several 200 yard rushers in as many weeks. How we forget.

Zimmer had the #1 D statistically in the NFL one year with a bunch of scrubs. Anything else is nit picky.

Because certainly if a bunch of people believe something than it must be true. History has proven that over and over again.

A bunch of people believe its been too long since the Cowboys have consistently gone deep into the playoffs (which I agree with). And then most of that same bunch also believes--since the buck stops with the coach, the reason for not going deeper into the playoffs is coaching. It's the exact same emotional response that had way too many good fans saying stupid things about Tony Romo being a choker. That same group will turn on Dak in a heartbeat if and when teams he plays on consistently fall short of expectations.

But that isn't the same thing as the problem actually being the coaching. The problem is insufficient talent on defense, which at this point can maybe be legitimately tied to the coaching staff. But that's not what most people are saying when they reflexively (and stupidly) go back to criticizing the coaching staff.
