Heck that’s an easy decision for any coach with that line and running back.

Yah, but that is the low bar set for Garrett. If he ACTUALLY does something right, that any casual fan would know to do then its surprising in a good way. Hence the praise.

You got to be kidding me.

I see this everytime the camera focuses on him after a huge penalty. He says this to the refs. Sometimes he sprinkles in adult language.

He would be much ore entertaining if he wore a Bozo the Clown outfit.

Wait, so because of his record against one singular team, one who is usually not that great, gives him a pass for his entire career of mediocrity? I wish I could have a job like that. Where I can cherry pick one tiny aspect of my job that is positive while being terrible at the rest and still have people who want to praise me.

Garrett is a bottom of the league coach. Plain and simple. A win against a very meh Skins team does not change that.

Yep and lets be honest. In the pouring rain and and with the more powerful run game the skins were driving to tie or win the game. And we needed a blocked FG to the 3 and a gimme pick 6 at the end to pull it off. This should have been an easier game to win.

Give it up for Jason Garrett.
Garrett is 10-5 against Washington. Won the last 5 there. How many coaches have done that against a division rival? In their house?
Plus he doesn't wear a hat in the pouring rain. How tough is that?
Getting tired of all the complainers constant crying about him in game threads.
Big win. Skins are done.

Correction he is 10-4, they showed the graphic that he was 9-4 before the game started. where did you get the 5 from?

Very true. It really shows how bad he is when people have to make threads like this to point out he won a game he should have won as a positive. It is actually quite sad.

For me it's all about the whole season l'll evaluate Garrett when it's over
I love the call on 4th down yesterday but then the time management before the half was a total meltdown I've seen High School coaches manage a game better

Garrett has been a coach of the Cowboys for 10 years or more now. NO more evaluation is needed. And one good season cant erase 9 out of 10 bad ones.

Was it really a gamble? We ran roughshod through the Commanders the entire game.
Absolutely it was a gamble. On the road, raining, waterlogged ball. The normally conservative Garrett showed some spunk going for it.

This is funny.

OP simply points out that JG essentially owns the Skins and it's followed by 3 pages worth of folks bashing JG.

lol

This should tell you something about how bad Garrett is. When the fan base simply cant stand the guy.

I thought it was a stupid call to be honest. On your own 45 and that was a long one yard. But it certainly was ballsy.

Of course you do. You hate everything about Garrett. At least you admit the call was ballsy, so there's that.

Consider yourself "triggered" by this thread.

I'm over here laughing at the responses to OP simply pointing out that JG essentially owns the 'Skins.

I used to hate playing the skins with Romo, for some reaso nthey would always call a blitz that would literally never work on another NFL team except for us. We'd fall for it every time.

He was 9-6 versus Washington.

Anyone going for it like that at the beginning of a game I would think was stupid. Nothing to do with Garrett. Yet I can admire the ballsy nature of it.

But yes I do hate everything about Garrett. Cant even stand to look at him on the sidelines. Romo, Ware, Witten, Lee, Smith. Their careers all but ruined in the Garrett era. Now clappy the clown is into year #2 of wasting the careers of Dak and Zeke. Maddening to say the least. But ultimately I blame Jerry for hiring him and NOT firing him.

He should have known better. It is akin to saying that we have owned the Cleveland Browns over the last 5 years. Did you really think we were going to be impressed? I guess when it all boils down to certain fans its a matter of standards.

Okay I'm trying to give him the benefit of the doubt here:banghead:

Actually I want Gruden in here is a head coach I want Zimmer has a defensive coordinator and I haven't settled on an OC yet

You see I'm not convinced we're going to finish in the playoffs and if we miss the playoffs there's no excuse not to can this whole staff.
