Much of the thread was posted before the games today. Might have something to do with it huh?

i didnt check the date on the posts........but it makes sense...

BTW, the Texans look like a totally different team with Schaub and with that defense. They still need a RB, but Green is a good stop gap. They also need a legit #2 WR, since for some reason they won't put Jacoby Jones there.

I firmly believe that the Raiders are improved. Their record doesn't show it, but they have played well in both games. If they can find stability at the QB position, their record should improve.

I am surprised at how pitiful the Rams are. I figured they would be at least 1-1 right now, but they are dreadful.

It's great to see the Saints struggling, I hope it continues.

I cannot believe some of the picks I have seen.....Cleveland outdueled Cincy, who is in the top 5 of some of you, yet you have Cleveland ranked 32....doesn't make sense. Also, how can Houston be in the bottom 5, and yet dismantle a top 5 Carolina?

[Bottom 5
32. Kansas City - at least they have awesome BBQ in KC
31. Atlanta - nothing about this team is impressive
30. Buffalo - maybe they should have kept Clement and McGahee
29. Miami - horrible offense, lackluster defense
28. Cleveland - defense still sucks, but Anderson sure did bring life to that offense (or was it the pathetic Cincy D)
How can Clev beat Cincy and still be bottom 5, especially after scoring 51 points, that doesn't make sense. I know we want them to do bad but as of right now there are 11 winless teams and Clev is not one of them.....

32. Atlanta
31. KC
30. Raiders
29. Giants
28. Saints
27, Rams
26. Dolphins...............

Top 5 after today:
1. Indianapolis (they are the champs)
2. New England (dismantled the Chargers lookin real impressive as much as i hate to admit it)
3. Dallas (offense looks to be the best in the NFL n defense should get a lot better with the returns of Ellis and Newman!)
4. Green Bay (Defense is great and Favre is still one of the greats in the history of the NFL)
5. Houston (yep the texans after years of struggling look real impressive with schuab as the QB throwin to Johnson. they are an up and rising team)

Bottom 5 teams:
32. Kansas City (they are horrible at everythin except RB)
31. Atlanta (they have no QB)
30. New Orleans (they have no defense and are being exposed after having a lot of players overachieve last year. Reggie Bush still cant rush to save his life!)
29. Browns (impressive win today but still they are not very good)
28. Dolphins (offense is horrible, Green is done!)

I dunno ... after watching that SNF game, I'd rank the Pats at the top...

1) New England
2) Indy
3) Pittsburgh
4) Dallas
5) San Diego (yes ... I think the Pats are just that good, not that the Chargers are that bad)

Bottom five:

32) Atlanta
31) Kansas City
30) Raiders
29) Saints
28) Cleveland (today was a bizarre fluke)

Until Dallas can put in a consistent effort on defense, I'm sidestepping claims of them being among the elite (Top 3 or 4), even if the Bears get beat next week...Right now, IMHO, there's Indy, NE and Pitt and a lot of others...2-0 is very nice though

Top 5
1. Indy - I'm still going with them until they are knocked off.
2. NE - More reasons to hate em emerge but they're consistent.
3. Pittsburgh - Bouncing back from disappointment of last season.
4. Houston - After seeing how impressive they were, I believe.
5. Dallas - Best in the NFC but a lot of things to work on to crack the top 3 or 4.

Bottom 5
32. Atlanta- Is there any chance they can win a game?
31. KC - They should be better, non?
30. Buffalo - Didn't realize they'd be this bad
29. Cleveland - they're bad but somehow they scored a lot of points & won
28. Oakland - they're better than the bottom 4 and will get better too
