this is when we need the "dislike" option button.

Tell me about.
That quote is a direct football IQ deficiency quote if there ever was one, at least for some. I've seen this poster make an actual contribution before, so I'll give a pass.
But thinking 48 points, 500 freaking yards, 5 TDs and only one pick (regardless of when it was) is not heroic, is beyond moronic.
But we all have brain toots at times.

I don't think he wants to win because if he did, he would do anything in his power to make that happen. He wants to win it his way but that's not the same thing.

that is the consequences of self delution which we all suffer to some degree

And being a game out always seems to satisfy some.

When the East gets strong again if Dallas continues to play as they do, then a game out won't be the case.

I'm not for getting rid of Romo. But I am for grooming his replacement so we don't go through another six years of Jerry handing the reins to every cheap QB he can find.

I have said this before, and will say it again. Romo will be the bane of this franchise once he is gone because Jerry seems to think you can go out and find a quarterback anywhere. I appreciate what Romo brings, but I am not convinced Jerry wasn't trying to poor-boy a franchise QB and lucked out.

Think of all the people shuttled through here.

Quincy - and before anyone says all he needed was a team, he outright sucked.

Cunningham
Stoerner
Leaf
Wright
Henson

This is the future of this team because Jerry Genius thinks he can pull a QB out of his rear.

Being prepared doesn't seem to be a tactical position for this football team in the eyes of management.

Not at all satisfied, but I realize that a plan for this team has to include Romo.

Moving on from Romo and drafting someone in the first round doesn't guarantee success. Please see the multitude of teams that have tried this. Not sure why you think the Cowboys are some how immune to that.

You must think we have a great defense or running game...

I believe in Jones' mind he IS doing everything in his power to win.

It's kind of like the washed-up football player who doesn't know when to quit, thinking he can still play and lead his team to victory. Jones believed himself to be a player when Dallas won three Super Bowls in four years under his watch and now he continues to believe he can do it again. He's actions and stance show that he's convinced of it, and there is no one who can tell him that it's time to call it quits.

The media and fans try, but as long as he holds on to that delusional belief, he's not going to give up that power.

It's definitely misguided, but doesn't mean he doesn't want to win. He just can't see himself for what he is, a poor GM whose only success was due to who he had as head coach.
