Williams makes more per season than Micah. Also, 3.5 years of Micah for 2.5 of Williams. And Micah is 1.5+ years younger.

This is a worthy use of picks.

Big Q isn't Parsons, but he isn't that far off. He's square in his prime at 27 years old, and has 2 additional years on his deal, so this isn't a rental to save a lost season. This is basically buying the kind of defensive stud that we have little to no chance of actually drafting.

If it came down to Big Q + paying Big Q + 2 draft picks, vs spending a 1st on a rookie DT that you hope might be Big Q, I'd rather just ship off the draft picks.

When you have missed on the position for years, smart to trade for a proven veteran.

You are getting him for at least two years and that does not count extending him if they want or using the franchise tag.

This is the type of player most cowboys fans have been wanting for years. They have swung and missed at drafting Mazi and Trysten. Q Williams is not just good, he is Elite. Something this team has not had in years in the middle.

Cost is high, but it is because it is a damn good player and one that is arguably one of the best at his position.

I love this move. This is a type of movie that Jerry and Stephen have been afraid and too cheap to make in years.

You are entitled to your opinion, you can go on and not like the trade. But you should be happy. Getting a stud in the trenches.

They can’t franchise tag him and he’ll be 31 at the end of his contract. Thats getting up there for a DT.

Probably right. We traded for Kenny Clark because Mazi was underperforming in camp. He's gone now, and now is Osa probably gone.

Osa isn’t going anywhere due to his contract. We’ll cut Clark in the offseason. He’s not with 20M a year.
