I know he's not popular around here, but I really like Cook as well. Not crazy about his completion % but I really like how he throws

I haven't looked at his numbers, so my observations are only based on looking at the highlights, which obviously doesn't paint a complete picture.

However, each player's highlights does allow you to see what went into the highlight and I really liked Cook's placement of passes. In the NFL, you just can't afford to slow behind receivers because their separation is less. He does a good job to putting his passes on the mark in the highlights.

I thought Goff and Lynch did well with that, too.

10th is likely too high but wont get by 15th spot. Bears, Texans and more will either move up to that spot or just grab him, It all depends on Senior Bowl, Combine and even his showing in the FCS Champ Game sat morning at 11:00, looks more and more likely he starts and plays.

At some point NFL teams have to start to discount these system spread offense QB's more than they do already, At some point the top high school qb's, if they have nfl aspirations at all, should start to turn away from these system offenses and flow toward a scheme in college that can prep them for the next level,

I do agree that he could play himself into being a higher pick, but in the draft where players like Aaron Rodgers fall into the 20s, others fall out of the first round, etc., it won't surprise me if Wentz doesn't end up being taken in the first round and isn't even the third QB taken.

Now, I strongly believe Goff and Lynch (not necessarily in that order) will be the first two QBs taken and they will go in the first round, but I'm not sold on who goes next or when.

Went back and watched Cook's game against Alabama (primarily because that defense makes it tough on QBs).

Facing a constant pass rush with no running attack, I thought Cook looked decent early in the game when Alabama wasn't hitting him as he released the ball or sacking him. He was accurate on the throws he was able to get off up until his first interception, which he didn't put enough air under.

After that, he threw a lot of 50/50 balls and his accuracy plummeted. Now, that's a tough game to judge a QB off, but his game seemed to tank under adversity.

I did like his highlights, but I did not like he handled the pressure when watching a full game that went poorly.
