Going for the TD with 30 seconds to go - is that an unclassy move?

As I said said rhe nfc is still the junior conference. All joking aside the boys played a tough game today. They got good pressure on brady all day.
Junior conference? The AFC has just as many bad teams in the conference as the NFC. AFC has 7. NFC has 8.. Not that significant to act like the AFC is so much better.

Uh yeah, we praise Garrett and Phillips for their "killer instinct" when they condone running up the score against STL, MIA, and CHI, but when someone does it to us, we whine like little *****es. Love the hypocrisy.

And hey, we could have stopped them but we didn't. We let them score. If we stopped them, we wouldn't be whining, would we? It's all on our D, not them.

Thank you.:)

They ran it 4 straight times up the gut w/ some guy they brought off the streets. Stop him! Looked like the "D" gave up after the timeout. Why Wade called it, I'll never know. Either way, stop him, have some pride.

Maybe they'll take it out on the Vikes next week.

I guess maybe it comes from growing up in a rough environment, but i live by the "give no quarter and ask for no quarter" law. I didn't see the Cowboys waiving a white flag.

There is nothing wrong with running up the score. It is more sad when we can't hold them back from scoring with 30 seconds left

that eckel guy never gets to play....he got the chance to score a TD in TX Stadium.....take it and run with it man. NE comes to Dallas once every 8 years or so. Now that guy can say he scored in the same end zone as Dorsett and Emmitt....

Like I said, it is the NFL....these are paid athletes. It is their job. If you can run it up, do so. If you don't like being scored on, play better D. I don't care if you are losing 100-0 with 10 seconds left, play D until the final whistle.

BTW, that was Eckel's first career TD......and he is from Navy....I am sure he was stoked to score in the same stadium that Roger made famous.....

I hope it pisses the Defense off.

It still shouldn't have happened.

Some people never learn.

I hate him for this and always will, that was total bush league,I can take a a## whipping.but rubbing it in:mad:   I have lost any respect for him after this move:mad:

I have coached for 16 yrs, and have been on both sides of blowouts.

I have never EVER felt that it is the winning teams job to keep the score close.

If you don't want a team to score on you, stop them.

Whether they scored or not it insignificant.

We lost to a better team today.

Now we prepare for the Vikings and not let this affect us next week.

That would show the character of our team if we can come out on the road and put a butt whoopin on the Vikes.

Then we get a week off, and then we have to make sure we win the division.

Stop whining and move on.

well its the NFL and they are paid well....so it doesnt bother me really. If it were HS or college, I would be outraged.
Your supposed to score all you can in college for the "polls". I readily acknowledge we were outplayed, but yes....completely classless.

We could not stop them,

classless? I put the heat on us giving up 50 points.

Thats some on US....

I could not disagree more.

Showing class while winning means everything. As much as i dislike him, i ask once again would Peyton Manning have run a play?

Classless - but then I would expect nothing else from that guy.

The reason to take a knee in that situation is to keep people from getting hurt. The game was over. I never wish injury on any player, but in that situation I wish that several NE key players had been lost for the season.

I'm telling you Hos man, people who think that that sort of thing is not noticed in the league are being very nieve IMHO.

Phillips, despite his FG call.. grr., is known as a standup professional coach who has been in the league for a long time, you saw how mad he was at games end.

The only person Wade should be pissed off at is himself. He begged them to score by calling a TO when they were trying to run out the clock.

Okay here it goes. I'm sorry we beat you by to many points. I hope you feel better.

I'm sorry for the integrity of the NFL and its fans that you were allowed to cheat for multiple championships, and now that you've upgraded your talent, dumb people will be fooled into believing that you aren't cheaters.

What line would that be?

I think I laid my thoughts out there pretty plain in black and white.
