Hey all,

I'll be attending the hall of fame game and induction ceremony. Does anyone know any information about any Cowboys signings/appearances or any other fun things for a Cowboys fan?

The HOF website has an itinerary for that weekend's events, including autograph opps from both current and new HOF'ers. Have your checkbook ready. I'm just hoping to get Staubach's autograph, as he will be there on Saturday, but it's going to cost about $150. I'll be there for the game (Sec 24) but not the ceremony. I believe they are doing a group photo of all available HOF members on Friday at 11am and you can get a group photo at that time. I don't know of any events other than those listed on the HOF website itinerary.

I went in 2010 and if you plan on meeting any former Cowboy legends or NFL Legends for that matter plan on spending most of your weekend on the hall grounds. In 2010 I met Roger Staubach as he was getting out of a limo going into the hospitality tent, later that day I just happened to be sitting at a table eating with one of my buddies and this guy sits down beside us and he's busy talking to another guy at the time and then all of a sudden he turned and asked us how we were doing and small talked with us, turned out to be Gale Sayers. On Sunday if you want to meet any current Cowboys make sure you go in the gates as soon as they open, they're out warming up early and most were more than willing to sign for Cowboys fans.

Thanks so much for the advice. Sounds like it just takes a little bit of good luck but I'll be going to most of the events so hopefully I'll run into a former or current Cowboy!

Are you driving there btw? If so don't park where they suggest by shuddle busing in from the fairgrounds. The houses on the hill above the stadium allow you to park for like $5-$10.

Thanks for the parking tip. I'll be at the game only too. Sec 22. I'll try taking a ton of pics.

Thanks, everyone, for the tips. I'd been so focused on getting HOF autographs, I hadn't even thought about trying to get some from the current team. Sad, really.

Thanks for the parking tip. I am going to the game too, will be taking my sons to their first NFL game even if its only preseason.

No prob, hope they enjoy if you all get the chance make sure to go on a Hall tour too, really awesome experience. If you go in there on Sunday they'll have all the new inductees busts set in place already.

Quest, out of curiosity why to you recommend avoiding the fairgrounds and shuttle?

Because you'll have to wait 30 minutes to an hour after the game for a shuttle bus to get back there. The houses on the hill are about a two minute drive from the interstate entrance ramp.
