Good film breakdown of Dak

Be as condescending as you want, I couldn't care less.
That wasn't my point of asking. Without knowing the details of the plays there are some unfairly judged. Like in a collapsed pocket with nowhere to go Dak throws it away. That was a good decision, not claiming Dak missed an open WR. (That he had no way of seeing). Then it's compared to seasoned veteran QBs with good protection completing a pass. I have no issue critiquing Dak. But this video is one of a handful by the same person who has an agenda against Dak. That's it. Nothing wrong with pointing out mistakes, just don't make bs up to fit your narrative.
BTW, not trying to be condescending, but people are getting too worked up about the video.

Okay... your turn. Critique Dak... both good and bad.
I have repeatedly, the point I was making is in regard to the video. Not that I can't say anything good or bad.

How the hell do you know? Do you know what each route was? The depth it was supposed to be run? What options were there based on coverage?

The facts are we brought in WRs, are talking about drafting more, and Stephen specifically brought up route running needing to improve.
When you leave Romo on the bench in lieu of this kid, of course you save face and blame routes.

I never said it was the gospel. I just said it made some good points (even though it is somewhat flawed).
You may not have, but plenty have. Did you NOT see anything false?

Oh we are in agreement then. I like his videos and the work he puts in. He knows what he's talking about....but when it comes to Dak it's very one sided like it's agenda based.

The pocket did collapse on him on an early play. I know there was at least one other play I strongly disagreed with but can't remember off the top of my head.

Romo got left on the bench because you couldn't mess with momentum and Romo was brittle.
Brittle was still the better QB. Momentum was 1 and done. I get why they did it, and I also get why they're scapegoating. I'v been critical of Dak since his rookie year. This video chirps everything I pointed out even in his rookie year. I hope the kid gets better, I really do.

I think the momentum argument was weak (especially when they bench Dak and Romo in the second half against the Eagles). Romo should have started vs. Cleveland and the team would have picked right up where it left off. If Romo gets hurt go back to Dak. right?

Honestly? I think he plays until his rookie deal goes out whether it's good or bad. Then Cooper Rush may get a shot. But unless we are historically bad to where we get a top 3 pick? I don't think they draft that season.
We're not throwing multiple young players early careers away over a trash quarterback.

This year determines everything. If Dak isn't the guy.....fire sale and rebuild.

How was he the better qb? Did you see him in 2015?

That's what YOU want to happen. I'm telling you what I think Jerry and co. will do based on what they have done in the past. They are going to try and take advantage of having a cheap qb....whether it's Dak or Rush.

I love that there are people on YouTube using film to make arguments.

This video makes me think that there was something physically wrong with Dak.

I don't know...the last time we saw Romo he didn't look like 2014 Romo.....and factor in he retired? He was more than likely done:

If Dak isn't the guy, Rush needs to get his shot this year. Need to know by year's end.

If they aren't, we're looking at 4-5 years until we're a legit contender. Trade everybody and start over.

There is no question Dak has to get better with his mechanics,if after year 3 you dont have all your mechanics ironed out then its time to move on,i am sure Dak s aware of his shortcomings.

2015 was an injury plagued year and was statistically skewed by a poor running game and the Carolina game. It seemed likely he would have played more like his 2016 curtain call drive against a good Philly Defense than how he played in 2015.

Remember what was reported in 2017 offseason? Dak has been working hard nonstop, blah blah blah, coming back even stronger, faster blah blah blah.

Dak is Dak, can make some plays but throwing mechanics, arm, reading etc. aren't that great. A better version of Tebow at best. Keep looking for our franchise QB.

Me too. Hopefully he's used the off-season well in improving his game.

I'm still waiting for fickle fans to start overreacting negatively about Dak. My over/under is about Week 7.

There already rebuilding and the final piece will come as you correctly stated in next years draft when we are in a position(unfortunately) to Draft our future Franchise QB!

I wouldn't go that far. He shows flashes of brilliance throwing the ball and does a lot of other things well. It even took Aikman until year 4 before he came into his own, so Dak should get that consideration.
