Two or three threads about how we are devastated at WR because we put all our eggs in Glenn's basket.

I'm sorry but last year he caught what, like three balls and played in a meaning less game for one play and then sat.

We were 13-3 and the #1 seed in the entire conference with the guys we have right now. What makes you people think they will be worse this year.

I like Glenn but as far as I'm concerned this is year two without him.

Geez, one practice and the sky is falling.

I would love to have Boldin or Roy Williams like most of you but I won't jump off a cliff if it doesn't happen. We will be fine with Crayton, Hurd and Austin.

The major "sky is falling" thread was started by cowboyrock who is a deadskins troll, so you can ignore his venom.

I'll second that. Most people are worried about our speed on offense with Glenn departing, but that's why we drafted Felix Jones. Felix is going to take our offense to another level.

No one is saying Glenn should not be gone. i thought he was washed up. my problem is why did Jerry not address the WR's in the draft and free-agency? nobody wants to go into the season counting on the likes of P.Crayton,Miles Austin and Sam hurd.PERIOD!

What was our record with these guys last year? Who won the division with these wrs? Who was the #1 seed with these receivers?

Would I have liked us to get a young WR in the draft? Sure. But it wasn't the top priority. Would I love to see Boldin come here. Heck yeah. But Boldin will not be the one thing that puts us over the top. Personally, I think we are over the top right now as far as the talent goes.

We just need to keep our heads together in Dec and Jan.

I guess the deal is everyone hopes we got better on offense, not stayed the same. Sure, you can mention a rookie backup RB if you want, but that is all that can be said for any improvement.

Other teams did improve, the issue is we didn't on offense.

As I said in another thread, if Jason Garrett can't 'make due' with just one All Pro WR, a All Pro TE, a Pro Bowl QB and a Pro Bowl RB and three Pro Bowl offensive linemen ... he's the most overrated and overpaid coach in football, and I don't ever want him to be the head coach of the Dallas Cowboys.

Now that they got Shockey, the Saints fans are eagerly rubbing their hands together anticipating what Sean Payton is going to do with their offense this year, and they don't have a #2 WR as good as Crayton. David Patten is going to be their #2 WR, and Terrence Copper will probably be #3. Remember Terrence Copper?

Evidently the Saints fans have a lot more faith in Sean Payton than the Cowboy fans do in Jason Garrett.

I like the doom and gloom threads, there much funner to pull up, than the threads predicting our SB win. Those are boring to pull up, to much back patting

"We" don't need a better WR than what we have already. Again, last year we did fine with this same crew. We have enough pro bowl players on offense.

Our young WRs have improved since last year. We have gotten substantially better on O IMO.

Do you not think this team was championship caliber last year? If you don't then you are one of the very few. Because everyone was singing our praises last year.
And this year apparently we are as well as every single prediction I've seen has us either winning the Super Bowl or at least making it there.

If you like to fret and worry over something that doesn't exist then go ahead and fret all you want. But from where I sit, it looks pretty good considering those other teams you mention are to to catch US, not the other way around.

How do we know they are better until we see them in real games? we keep reading and hearing how much better they are. but seeing is believing.

How do you know they're not???? They took us to the best record in franchise history and won the division.
