Everyone is subject to some criticism . And Goodell certainly isn’t exempt.

But much of the rhetoric I was responding to didn’t appear to fully grasp what his responsibility and obligation is serving the interest of the owners.

Nor did they either realize or respect the outstanding job he’d done for the owners and the league.

Perhaps this thread wasn’t intended for serious discussions just wanting to bash our Commish over officiating.

He’s helped them make a ton of money and seeing them through Covid and CTE were both pretty meaningful wins for the league .

I’m not thrilled with the changes to the game, but considering the job is to drive owners to consensus and increase stakeholder value, he’s been an obvious success
