Sure they do. I know "rank and file" fans that have been to Super Bowls lately.Crown Royal;1712622 said:The rank and file football fans aren't paying to go watch the Super Bowl IN The country.

I have no idea why you're defining "rank and file fan" by income.Crown Royal;1712635 said:Perhaps I am misunderstanding your definition of 'rank and file' fans. It was my feeling that the 'rank and file' NFL fan was the one making a gross median household income of around 50-60K per year than can only really afford one home game a year anyway.

That doesn't make sense to me. I don't guess you'd consider me to be a "rank and file" fan simply because I don't fit that income bracket.Crown Royal;1712657 said:Maybe I don't understand the phrase 'rank and file.' I thought it to mean the average hardcore fan, which seems to me is the average working American, thus the average household income.
It's not that it would have lower attendance overseas. It would most certainly sell out. That's not really an issue, I don't think, for most people. My point is that the average fan doesn't attend the superbowl as it is. Generally it is the wealthy fan and the corporate sponser. I don't see any reason the superbowl would have any less in attendance overseas.
