It'll never happen.

It's probablly small talk that has gotten a lot of attention because it makes headlines. Nothing like the idea of hosting the Super Bowl outside the US to get ratings.

Not in my lifetime please. :(

Perhaps I am misunderstanding your definition of 'rank and file' fans. It was my feeling that the 'rank and file' NFL fan was the one making a gross median household income of around 50-60K per year than can only really afford one home game a year anyway.

if you have a gross family income that small, you have bigger issues than whether you can afford more than one game per year. Not sure how anyone can feed and clothe a family on that small an income.

Because suprisingly most American's do not live in high cost of living areas. 50-60k will get you no where in DC but if you move to the south, then you are prety comfortable. Hell you can even buy a decent home with that income.

It better not happen until every city that hosts a team now has had a Super Bowl.

No offense to London, but this is our game. Any voter who would choose London over an NFL city is a fool. If you want a neutral site then quit trying to put a team in Los Angeles and build a permanent venue there.

I think they would be better off building a permenent site in Vegas.

Canada's dollar is worth a couple cents more than an American dollar and those crazy canucks start acting all high and mighty.

Goodell after a good start is hitting a sophomore slump of disastrous proportions.

Many of us have thought he was a boob from the beginning.

In no way should any SB be played outside the US.......... That would upset me so much...
There have already been preliminary talks of Toronto getting an NFL franchise at some point. If that happens, they'd deserve a chance at hosting a Super Bowl as much as any other NFL city.

A terrible idea, lessons from MLB and the NBA should be enough to know that is a bad idea.

well no matter what we think of him, he makes boatloads of money for the league so fans are secondary. The owners love him, well except ralph wilson which is odd because goodell is from jamestown ny.

Charles Goodell, Roger's father has a pretty cool story, he was a politician and he is the guy who took robert kennedy's seat in the senate after he was assasinated and also the guy who introduced legislation to stop funding for the vietnam war...

pretty interesting to me.

If they actually go through with this, I simply won't watch. It's just wrong for so many reasons.

That's interesting about Goodell's father. He was the guy responsible for hanging the South Vietnamese out to dry and Dat Nyguyen's family having to flee their country in a little boat.

MLB and NBA are different products, Canada has already shown an affinity for the sport of football, considering they have a pretty successful league of their own.

American players have distasted living in Canada historically, trades and hold outs have been forced on account of as much and I'm not exaggerating, Canadian taxes are not something American players want to have to pay on top of Uncle Sam's either, this has been a point of contention in the past.

Shall we play Oh Canada before the Super Bowl? I don't think so, in a world of globalization sometimes nationalism just has to stand firm on certain things.

While hoarding the sport for ourselves may benefit us American fans, it doesn't bode well for the owners, the league, or the networks who could potentially be capitalizing on many countries rather than just the U.S.

If you have a problem with it, you have a problem with our capitalistic society as a whole. As they say, "don't hate the player, hate the game."
