A genius draft would be to swap Cleveland's 1st with someone in the top 5, then give them Cowboys 1st, and next years 1st. Take your third packaged with Barber (since he will get a 1st round tender) move back into the 1st rd get Best WR or CB, still have your second rounder to get a speed back to pair with McFad.

Won't happen, but I can dream. ;)

Or we can keep our picks, draft CB/WR (who won't start for 2 maybe 3 yrs unless injury if they aren't a bust) and draft a speed back to go with Barber. Either way, i'm a happy camper as long as we go to the SB this year. :)

Well, I hate that trade too, but you brought it up...;)

To me, Galloway wasn't really all that old, but for that particular trade, he was too old. I'm not saying you did it, but I have seen several say that we shouldn't trade picks, but it isn't like we are getting an older player, it is for another prospect.

Call what the Foreskins do with their picks stupid, but trading a pick for another pick can be absolutely great, heck it is how we got these 2 picks in the first place......now if only the Browns would have fell apart like they were supposed to.

BTW, both number #1s, as late as they will be, won't be enough.

Then IMO it costs to much to trade up. We draft Jones, Stewart or Rice to team with Barber and get a cb or wr.

Yeah, it does depend on what we are willing to give up, and it is obvious you aren't in favor of giving up anymore more than those 2 picks.

I'm really unsure, don't think I would be unhappy with most deals that would bring Darren to us. Sure it has to be within reason, but Daren does more with less help than probably any player in college football. On this team, our offense would be unstoppable, and I don't talk with such optimism very often.

Out of the backs you listed, first of all I'm looking for an elite feature back. Sure we have Barber, but to have an elite back and Barber would be a nice and dominating thing to have, especially with our WR situation (wish there were a WR in the draft I really liked). Sure Barber produces right now, but he is very slow and with his style, he takes alot of punishment. I would like to keep him as a backup.

Jones and Rice would be good compliments to Barber, but neither are a feature back IMO. I would have interest in Stewart, although he is a little similar to Barber, but a little faster.

I want a CB and WR as much as anyone (WR first), but one of them has to be filled in free agency, and I'm not looking at the draft to meet both those needs.
