Who cares about his workload? I think we should draft a RB high every 5 years, ride them until their rookie contract is up, then let them walk. Rinse and repeat. EZE is not so special that we will have to pay him a truckload of money to stay. I'm glad we have him, but RBs are interchangeable. Emmitt was a generational type player, and I am not sure his breed of RBs exist anymore.

Zeke is a 10 year RB at least. Fantasy football and madden football has ruined the way fans look at football.
22 carries a game would be good, and takes nothing away from Zeke or any good RB as to their longevity. If they take care of themselves.

Run Zeke run!

I was kinda worried they were gonna split his carries with Morris before the season began (was confounded that there was a decent amount of posters that wanted his carries held back to "preserve" him), and then grew concerned, again (that his carries may be reduced), after his somewhat rough two starts. But the coaches stayed on course with our phenom and they need to continue to let the kid eat. And that's excatly what they're doing. Awesome.

20-25 carries a game, keep it going. We need to start implementing him more in the passing game -- as @FuzzyLumpkins has eloquently said, he needs more practice there. Hope they're doing lots of passing drills in practice with our phenom. Still a few screens or flat routes wouldn't hurt, not talking lining him up in the slot or seem routes from lining up in the backfield etc... just get him more involved in that facet (small routes), he seems to glide after receiving the few balls he has.

(Gosh, I'm still eating so much crow on this pick, lol) and LOL @Risen Star

If Philly's D is a bit aggressive Sunday night. I look to see, maybe not right away, but once Linehan gets a feel for how and when. We will see Zeke, or Dunbar, if he is back, burn Philly with some screens, as well as Lucky Whitehead also, passes to the flats. And with Dez back, this will open up those plays all the more.

I'm cool with EE averaging ~23 carries per game. What I completely disagree with is giving him the ball when the game is already decided - give it to Morris!!

Philly blitzed their corners 13 times in the MIN game, as much as they had all of their previous games combined... if they do that, Zeke will be wide open in the flat on the side of the blitzing CB (assuming the OL picks up the rest of the blitz) until he hits the second level, giving him more space to make his awesome cut on a LB or DB, but at that point he's already hit 8-10 yds, with potential for more as the OL catches up to him on the second level.

Dak will pass in the face of said blitzing CB's, he's done so already numerous times. That's that poise everyone speaks of.

We are going to destroy this team, Jazz.

Yes, I am already getting pumped for this game. It's been 2 weeks...need to Dallas cowboys football.....
Will be another 14 hour day of football Sunday...starting with the Bengals whipping the Deadskins from London and finishing with a serious Eagles beat down by the Cowboys.
Kind of wish I still had my season tickets, or at least kept the tickets to this game.
May need to look for cheap last minute tickets.

But keep in mind they knew what bothered Bradford, Vikings tackles have been really bad this year. This is a problem we don't have. Eagles like to pressure the Qb though so i don't expect them to change that mindset, they better just realize this is not the viking offense we have the players and balance to tear them apart if they don't get there.

But now with that pressure, they will have to account for the legs of Dak...it's not Tony where he will / can take off running. He has his pocket awareness and spin move...but Dak has the youthful legs and quickness. So we will need to take advantage of that aggressiveness. I may take Linehan a few series to figure it out better. But I believe he will.

The thing that seperates Zeke from these freak athlete RB's like Gurley is he has natural instincts for the position.

Sometimes it's good to have a guy like Gurley but Zeke is like Emmitt in the way that he was just born to be a runningback. You won't find a weakness in his game just like Emmitt.
Its crazy. he is almost an Emmitt Clone. Slightly faster. Lets hope he is as durable. I wish he would have wore #22, just like other WRs are wearing 88 to honor it. Wonder if Emmitt would have not cared, just like Irvin doesn't care.

I think it is a matter of the amount of numbers. RBs can wear 20s, 30s, 40s. WR wear 80s and 10s.

Well, I see we have a new league leader in carries this week. David Johnson has 146 to Zeke's 137......both in 6 games. Zeke is now 4th in carries behind him, LeGarrette Blount (143), and DeMarco Murray (139).

They also all played one more game than Zeke.

After 6 games you already know that Zeke is not special or a generational type running back?
