Can someone recap Goose on Norm this morning? I have a meeting.

So he hasn't been on yet? I'll try if I can catch it.

Even better, maybe IR is listening. :)

He did say that he thought neither Delmas or Robiskie would be there for us.

He was just on, nothing that big. He did say the cowboys have no chance at delmas or robiskie at 51. He also said the teams at the bottom of the first round are begging to get out and wont be able to.

or what we may have to do is trade down to about the 56th to 61st pick, pick up an extra 3nd and 5th, and take a flyer on someone like sidbury, and get mcgee with that extra 3rd.

Then taking a wr like barden or jason williams at linebacker or s ladarius webb, then with our other 2 4th rounders we can load up on OT, etc and still have extra 5ths to get a sammie smith at NT, then a johnny knox or mike thomas at speed wr

thinking the same thing, but I would go for Duke Robinson at that point
then S in the third

Guys, I just put a dead hooker in Robiskie's home and called 911.

He should be there at 51 now.

;yep me too you dont give up your extra 4th and 5th to move up, those could be very good backups like a sammie hill at nt that can spell ratliff

just dont get greedy you know, be patient, and use the old saying let the draft come to you;

Thanks man.

We need a good Fake Goose segment with draft time here. :)

If we take a flyer with our first pick then I will be rather upset. That is of course unless he becomes a starter or star at which time I will exclaim my unwavering fealty for him even prior to the draft.

As long as Jerry doesn't fall in love with anyone in particular, we'll be fine. No need to trade up when all the players after pick #20 are more or less interchangeable.

The only thing I fear is that Jones does "fall in love" and squanders a very healthy collection of choices for that player that tickles him.

If Ciskowski is allowed to construct his board and it is the driving force, we will be fine.

Any draft picks born on Oct. 13?

:laugh1: :(

That scene on Hard Knocks was the low point... Even worse than Campo in a wet suit or Pete Hunter riding a steer.

He traded up for Spencer and Jenkins in recent years, so there is precedent. Then again, those were first rounders. Unless the cost is minimal, trading up for a second rounder seems rash.

NOOOOO!!!!
I think you just sent him to the the 1st overall pick by Detroit....
