Gordon to the Browns round 2

Queue the overreaction... This guy has 1st round talent and his good value in the 2nd round, probably won't be a WR in the 2nd round of next year's draft with his talent.

False.

:laugh1::lmao2: Everyone was getting excited about him and hyping him up as the #3 WR already

It's like this guy had the same career and measurable that Randy Moss had coming out of college, WITW????????

Your opinion, just as that was his opinion.

I wouldn't take him over Robert Woods, Keenan Allen, Justin Hunter, Terrence Williams, Marquess Wilson, DaRick Rogers or Cobi Hamilton based on the players they were in college alone, much less the knucklehead factor. Next year is going to be a great WR class, and there's a ton of potential big and athletic WRs in the class who haven't passed out in Taco Bell drive thrus.

Holmgren fell for his next Koren Robinson, and a poor man's version of it at that.

The Cleveland Trainwreck continues!

I think Holmgren's tenure will ultimately be viewed as one of the worst this beleagured franchise has ever seen.

Yeah, Holmgren did not impress me with his GM acumen while in Seattle. (Outisde of trades with Dallas) And they did take that role away from him there, iirc.

The Browns didn't lose a draft pick. Gordon's their 2nd rounder next year.

Dunno, looking at the guys available around their pick this year, there are plenty of other players I'd've prefered to Gordon.

They better have done their homework.

At least the Commanders didn't get him or any other NFC East team.

If only the Browns had a QB:)

it's that 4.54 40 that is the biggest red flag to me. but Holmgren picked up Trent and a world class QB so i won't argue with genius.

Dallas did the right thing. They could not have landed Gordon without offering up a 1st rounder to beat out the 2nd rounder the Browns used to get him. Forget the off field stuff. He is not worth using a 1st round pick on. There just isn't enough information on him since he only has played 1 season two years ago. And that season was fairly tame compared to the types of seasons 1st round wide receivers typically put up in college.

I'm glad they took him and not us. Now our 2nd round pick is one pick higher (since the 2nd they no longer have would likely have been before ours)! :)

Not an opinion at all, it's a statement based on expert analysis and projections. I know very few if any draft experts or scouts that would agree.

Matter of fact, the notion that he would of even been a first round WR is highly debatable.

Certainly it is an opinion, you absolutely don't know that he wouldn't be picked in the first round. You certainly don't know with certainty that he wouldn't be the best wr in the second round if he lasted that long. You may have read some first round mocks before he declared for the supplemental draft that didn't have him in the first, and you may have read some reports that led you to form that opinion. In the end it is still an opinion from a poster on a fan forum. Just like the post from the poster you summarily dismissed.

Think again, buster. If that's all you think of sdogo, you should check out his draft mag. Right up there if not Better than Lande, Nawrocki and Rang. Prepare to be summarily humbled!

I don't absolutely know but I have very informed basis on which I make my statement and I promise you it has nothing to do with any Mock draft or report I have read anywhere.

I'm also VERY confident in saying had the actual NFL draft been held today and Gordon in it, he neither would of been a 1st round pick nor would he have been a high 2nd round pick.

The fact that he was given a 3rd round grade in a supplemental draft by the draft advisory speaks volumes about his actual value.
