I agree with him from 1-6. Brees is debatable.

I tend to agree with you, I think this is like a "old guy Pro Bowl vote" - happy to be refuted but since no one watches the Saints and they are terrible, doesn't he just throw for 5,000 yards now bc he's down 14 in a shootout every week?

Seems like Dak should sneak in at 9 or 10, but I can understand not including him quite yet.

Taking off my homer shades, I have to agree. I could see him 8-10 but I can't fault anyone for saying "prove it more than one year"

Trolling for a reaction and a complete imbecile.

How is Stafford ahead of Dak? His best QBR was 97 WITH Megatron.

Why is Mariota ahead of him exactly?

To be honest I am not sure Luck is better and I love Luck.

I think you could argue anywhere from 8-12 or so. So Gosselin isn't that crazy here. Normally he is, but not in this case IMO.

I'm ok with Dak > Stafford debate...it at least is debatable.
But I can't even begin to imagine how great Stafford would be on our team....with our line and Zeke and the other weapons. Come on he totally carried that crap team he was on. he probably threw for 1000 yards more too...which ups the odds of turnovers.
Still, he set the record with eight 4th quarter comeback wins. He's very good.

1. Aaron Rodgers
2. Tom Brady
3. Matt Ryan
4. Ben Roethlisberger
5. Derek Carr
6. Russell Wilson
7. Drew Brees
8. Andrew Luck
9. Marcus Mariota
10. Matthew Stafford

Not sold on Wilson. He regressed badly. Mariota and Carr each had a single reasonable year. Not sure I'd put them in the top 10 yet.

Compare Dak's year with Mariotta and Carr ... and it's a different story.

But let's see what Dak can do next year.

Dallas pass blocking is not top three, maybe not even top five.
Stafford had a great line in 14 and Megatron his numbers were still not as good as Dak's.

I said it was debatable and I don't really care either way.
However
Detroit's line was ranked 14th in 2014....that is not "great"
Stafford has never had a line like we have and he certainly has never had ZEKE and the running game that we have.
Megatron was great but he was just one guy...and often injured at that in the late years

Look, you're perfectly allowed to think Dak is better than Stafford. It wouldn't make you crazy.
I was just pointing out that Stafford on our team would be pretty sick.
I also think Stafford has improved.

Bottomline is that we a very lucky to have Dak
