I disagree with it.

A great season does not make for a great career which is what Gooselin is getting at. Dak has to prove it over a few years to be considered a legit top 10.

Typical Gosselin, loves to troll the Cowboys. I don't think Mariota is a bad QB, but he's had 2 years in a very stat friendly system and had a 64.9 QBR to Dak's 81.7. He's also never played in a playoff game.

Stafford has yet to win a playoff game and had a 70.7 QBR.

I noticed that the Dallas News fool also neglected to mention any of Dak's numbers. How can you feature an article like that and not mention Dak's historically great avoidance of interceptions, Dak's top-3 QBR, his running ability, or leadership. None of that bears a mention?

But I think the QBR is a bit high for Dak. Given the O line ability to pass block.

This O line would even make Eli look like a slightly above average QB.

I only put Aaron above Dak because he outplayed Dak in the last game.
The other 2 are in the SB and they played good getting their teams there.

I'm ok with Dak > Stafford debate...it at least is debatable.
But I can't even begin to imagine how great Stafford would be on our team....with our line and Zeke and the other weapons. Come on he totally carried that crap team he was on. he probably threw for 1000 yards more too...which ups the odds of turnovers.
Still, he set the record with eight 4th quarter comeback wins. He's very good.

Some of those wins were the defense got a turnover and then they kicked a FG to win. Wasn't like Stafford drove them down every time. However 8 times is impressive

It isnt about stats, it is about winning, and making plays when they need to be made.
The one thing that stands out is Dallas last possesion, and Dak threw 1 inc, and one easy bat down.
At that point Dak needed to roll out scramble, complete a pass, throw a td, take off and run, but he didnt.
So we take a FG and leave too much time also.

We aren't talking about a team win or lost. We talking about who played better and that was Dak. Debating otherwise shows your not really in touch with the game or you fooling yourself.

You also said Rodgers got TDs not FGs.........Dak threw more TDs and Crosby was a hero.......that's the GB kicker by the way
