Right now it's an F.
Still time however, though I'm not optimistic.
The Gregory situation is an absolute embarrassment. To almost lose him, then actually lose him, with no backup plan is unforgivable.
Cooper could have easily been restructured, down to about 8 mil this year. As it is he is costing us 6 Mil cap space and we got nothing for him. Just doesn't make sense to me. Now we have a huge hole at WR. You getting someone as good as Coop for 2 mil?
Collins I do understand the laziness issue, but again, you've created a new hole at a position we were pretty well set at.
I like Armstrong, think he's a solid back up, but 6 1/2 mil for him indicates to me they think he is more than that. We have 2 solid back up DE's (Basham and Gholston). So while I like Armstrong better than those guys, better to pool that money toward a starter IMO.
As of now there are too many holes to fill in the Draft, and FA is getting thinned out.
Can still salvage by signing ZaDarius and Wagner (and keeping Kearse).
Add a beefy DT and a vet WR, then go OL heavy in draft (and maybe WR and TE)
I just have no faith in this organization at this point.
