Great job letting Larry Allen go

This schtick gets very old. Arguing we should have kept Larry Allen over Kyle Kosier is not only not a silly assertion, but one that is backed up by statistical facts.

Uhhhh, no, it isn't... in fact, it is completely rebutted by statistical fact... given that the Cowboys have put up significantly better numbers in virtually EVERY offensive category this year...

Then there's the matter of Kosier NOT missing five games this year, the way Larry did... that's another advantage, Kosier...

No I didnt, I said I believe we could have more success runnign behind him than we do with Kosier

really?

when we never did for the past 5 years w/ him here?

WeakHitta......Is that really all you can come up with?

Niner O-Line: The ultimate suck to fairly decent in one eyar

Frank Gore: Nobody to 1,500 yard stud

You think Kosier would have made as large an impact? If so, prove it to me.

can you even imagine how many explentives would be thrown in your direction? I know there's about 10 people in this thread alone who would love to tell you how they really feel about you

this is the extent of the joke that you've become

30-yard slant!!

Allen's recorded time at his physical with San fran was a 4.8. You honestly think hsi 40 drop almost a full second in a decade? Maybe for a couch potato, but not an NFL athlete

I have no idea what he ran for San Francisco, and given your track record for BS, I'd like to see some documentation of that claim...

I have produced documentation of my claim that Larry ran anywhere from a half a second to three quarters of a second faster than you claimed he did coming out of college, in the form of two of the most highly respect draft publications out there...

Which means I have backed up my claims, and you haven't backed up years...

So, if Larry DID run that 5.8, then yeah, he's lost a good deal of speed over the years... but again, the way you play fast and loose with the truth, I'm gonna want to see some evidence that he really did run that slow for the Niners (frankly, I don't think they would have signed him if he put up a 40 time THAT slow)...

Again, Romo, TO, Barber and Columbo have much more to do with that than the loss of Allen

I'e done my part, now prove to me that Kosier could have done for SF what LA has

if we can't run the ball w/ Larry ALlen, but San Fran can

don't you think it's not all Larry Allen in San Fran?

The one where running in the playoffs, on the road, in a do or die game defines a team's ability to run, not a week 15 game against a scrub.

See, I have direct TV and the Sunday Ticket. I will now call them and ask for my money back because I was supposed to get every Game this year. But obviously they missed the playoff game we played on the road in that do or die game.

Which one was that so I can let them know?

I don't have a problem with him. He's a passionate Cowboys fan who doesn't give us a chance. But I would simply prefer to continue to prove him wrong. It's more funner. (in honor of you :D )

That's fair enough, but it still doesnt change the fac that Allen is the biggest reason why the Niners O-Line went from pitiful to producing a 1,500 yard back

LA or no, they're not getting 1500 yards out of a back with a broken leg. And it seems to me you're attributing a confluence of factors (Norv, improved play by Alex Smith, improved health on the part of Gore, etc) entirely on Larry's presence.

Gore was running pretty well in previous years. It was his health that was setting him back.

Did LA mis like 3 weeks also. But Lineman get in on rep and if the RB you block for does something like 1500 yds.

Larry is going to the pro-bowl, but alas, no playoff check for him this year.

Gore is finally healthy and we are seeing what he might have been at Miami. This guy was a stud at RB at the U. He didn't come out of nowhere.

Given that Larry has missed over a third of the games the Niners have played, perhaps it's ridiculous, bordering on asinine, to give him all the credit for that...
