No he didnt, he made it as a backup, and it's been well established in this thread.

Sucks to be you

Let me help you a bit...

Barber has 763 Yds rushing...

475 of them has come in the 2nd half nearly 300 of them in the 4th qtr.

Julius has 449 yds in the 2nd half, nearly half of his total 1019.

416 4th qtr rushing yards.

5 of those games we were behind signifcanly going into the 4th Qtr. so if you logically follow that we would go more to a passing game at that point without the balanced attack and take the total yards in the 4th qtr and devid by the remaining 9 games that means we had nearly 50 rushing yds per game in the 4th qtr. of the games in which we were not significantly behind.

It would seem to me that your thesis is wrong.

We're paying Flo 5 million to miss the PB entirely

Hmmm...One is a tackle which should be paid higher, one is a OG.

Eitherway, he is gone, get over it.

Holy cow.

YOu wanted facts about our production and I give them to you. And all you got to say is "Intensity increases in the playoffs"?

I win, you lose.:lmao:

yes, but that fact alone doesn't decrease Dallas' chances

so in fact, you're whole argument here, hinges on nothing

it hasn't happened

Or that Jones has just been playing down below his

In no way has Flo played like a 5 million dollar tackle

Thank you, now considering this self-admitted fact, it's safe to assume that regular season late game rushign success will not necessarily translate to postseason late game rushing success, since teams know thatmtheir season is on the line and the teams, as a whole, are simply better.

I still have doubts that this line can produce clutch rushing yards against great defenses

Yeah, thanks a lot, NFL.com... when I read their roster this afternoon at work, Allen was not on it... and I certainly consider NFL.com the definitive source for matters like that... but whoever put up the original list was asleep at the switch...

And I still say that an offensive lineman who missed 5 games due to injury does not belong in the Pro Bowl... maybe if his team went 10-1 in the other 11 games, but of course the Niners aren't NEARLY that good, are they??

So I owe HH an apology for this one... happily, he's STILL stepping on his johnson, claiming that Larry Allen ran a 5.6 40 coming out of college...

Mel Kiper credited him with a 4.99 40 (he claimed he could "run in the 4.85 range on a fast track"), and he ran a 5.18 at the combine...

Quoting Mel a little further:

"It's that speed which allows him to send LB'ers and DB's flying as he operates like a pin-ball 35-40 yards down the field. Critics of the 40 yard always talk about the last time you saw an OL 40 yards down the field. With Larry, it was an every game occurrence"...

Ourlads credited Allen with a 5.11 40, and said he "runs well"...

H*ll, even Kevin Freakin' Gogan ran faster than a 5.6 40, and he WAS dead slow...

I see it's on to the next argument since the one we were just on hasn't gone too well for you, I like how you give yourself breathing room

but the fact is that FLozell is being paid to produce like he has, keep the QB clean, and for the most part he has
