he must plan these
he has to, there's no other way to explain it
summerisfunner;1247420 said:but winning does take the sting of defeat away, and you feel alright and confident for the next game
momentum is just confidence and feeling good

Dance puppet, dance
summerisfunner;1247425 said:sorry HH, me and cajun's crystal balls are in the shop
HeavyHitta31;1247429 said:An amazing feat no doubt, and I remember watching that game, but Allen had an angle and a head of steam. He didnt outrun a DB in a sprint by any means
HeavyHitta31;1247443 said:And the Eagles have a lot more confidence than we do right now
HeavyHitta31;1247447 said:So you're amitting that you got nothing?
summerisfunner;1247445 said:puppet? in this thread at least, I'm your daddy
summerisfunner;1247449 said:really now? guess I gotta get around and talk to more Cowboy players and psycho-analyze them
HeavyHitta31;1246935 said:It was just on ESPN, twice, in about 3 minutes. Albeit as a reserve, but he still made it while we're stuck with frail arse Kosier
HeavyHitta31;1247453 said:Ah yes, those fact based arguements about momentum and Marion Barber winning a playoff game against the Falcons. How could I have been so blind.
:laugh2:
Stop serving up slow, low hanging beachballs, because I'll have no choice but to keep knocking them into deep center

Dough Boy;1247448 said:not the point. how can you call him one of the slowest guards in the nfl. anyone that watched allen play would laugh at that thought. He was never slow. if you actually saw that play, angle or not, a 320 lb lineman chasing a db, how could you ever call that guy slow for a guard.
In retrospect, he is probally one of the fastest, quickest, strongest players of all time. Larry Allen was no one trick pony. Just b/c he was strong, those of us that watched him in his prime know that he was equally as quick and fast.

Dale;1246967 said:So how many guards go? NFL.com's list is "supposedly" complete, but lists just two guards. I'm assuming it's an omission on their part.
My apologies..
HeavyHitta31;1247464 said:Larry Allen ran a 5.6 in the 40 coming out of college. That's slow, by any and all standards
silverbear;1247466 said:No need to apologize, IF Larry made it at all, he made it as an ALTERNATE...
Which means he doesn't go unless one of the guards who did make the team can't play... and unless that happens, he is NOT a Pro Bowler...
No matter how HH tries to spin his BS...
HeavyHitta31;1247422 said:Yes you have, but I'll dumb it down for you:
Week 15 against the Falcons, a team who will finish out of the playoff picture, and the NFC Title game agaisnt Chicago are two completely different scenarios.
