Great nuggets from Jori Epstein

Let me be right again. File it away and forget about it when I am.

Whoever signs Osa will live to regret it. He has terrible 2nd contract written all over him.

Which basically means welcome back.
I'm surprised they are going to make it a priority........thought he would be out their price range

I'm not surprised. It's stupid. So naturally it's the direction they want to go.

Osa Whosyourmomma. He of the 13.5 sacks over 4 years as a starting 3 tech. While being a terrible undersized run defender. One of the reasons we get bullied in the run game.

Oh heck yes, let's give him big money.

He's one of our drafted players, there will be NO talk of we don't have the money, tree leaves, and things being 365 it's more like we love you, and we're going to sleep in your bed with you until you sign our deal!!!!! We refuse to look outside to get others in here!

This is the issue I have.....we need a big tough run defender (NT/tech1) who doesn't care about stats ( sacks ). He and Mazi in the middle offer little or nothing to stopping the run or keeping LBers clean.

Who is the 3tech upgrade to osa? The only answer has to be a rookie because there isn't a free agent upgrade over him

I pretty much agree with this. I like the guy...he was a national level high school wrestler at the same time as my son, who beat several national ranked wrestlers. But I recognize he is pretty much a one trick pony....he is a decent pocket disruptor but he just isn't very good at stopping the run. With his money, I would much rather pursue someone that is a stud against the run and can get some pressure.

Whoever pays him big money is not going to get what they are expecting.

Provide a name. Just 1. Seems yall just like to complain and whine about Jerry but can't give a solution.

Here is our problem in a nutshell:
We will overpay an average player just because of familiarity,
and not take a chance on upgrading the position in free agency,
because of the risk of the unknown.
This is why until we get astute GM,
we are doomed.
