Easy answer. They used Doucet almost exclusively on crossing routes and wide receiver screens. I'm sorry, but you cant legitimately defend 9.2 yds per catch. I know how he was used just like anybody else does. Bradon Lafell averaged 13.1 yds per catch last yr, Demetrius Byrd 17.7 and Terrance Toliver 24.9...so why's Doucet at 9.2? Craig Davis and Dwayne Bowe both averaged more yds per catch in 2006, 2005 and 2004

Doucet had YPC of 14.3, 15.0, and 13.1 in his previous 3 seasons, so it's obvious this last year was an anomaly.
