Green Bay Packers look like a broken team

I said in the games thread yesterday that Dallas is due to hand a beating to GB. No guarantees in the NFL as others have stated, but we are due.

Plus…Father Time is undefeated. Rodgers looks like Father Time is knocking on his door reminding him his days of dominance are over.

I'm not sure that is true at all. Rogers still looks like Rogers to me. This is just a QB with the weakest group of receivers he has ever had plus probably the worst Oline he has ever, especially with Bakhtiari basically playing the Tyron Smith role for GB this season. Yesterdays game clearly looked like a guy who was frustrated and tried to do everything himself.

This is a game I think the Cowboys should win, but I give the packers a chance if this team comes out a little slow after a bye week. Rogers is still capable of putting up a big game. That said it's an obvious advantage Cowboys at nearly every other matchup. The Cowboys should be able to get consistent pressure. The Packers don't have a great receiver who will dictate coverage, and for the most part the Packers defense has three really good players in Clark, Gray, and Alexander, but have looked like a group of JAGs outside of that.

I’d say that circumstances appear to favor the Cowboys, but I will never disregard Rodgers’ abilities or view the Packers as an ‘easy win’.

Ironically, I’m putting more pressure on the Cowboys to take care of business against a struggling opponent.

Show how good you can be and soundly defeat a down, demoralized, and depleted team.

There are no excuses should Dallas somehow lose.

It definitely seems true that the Packers appear to be a broken team. Heck, even their highly acclaimed QB leader has begun to hang his head down and shake it in disgust, these days. Yet, I'll still be relieved to know that we've beaten them, when all is said and done. They've just beaten us far too many times to think otherwise.

When it's all said and done, Rodgers will have the last laugh on the Cowboys, career wise.

That's not going to stop me from thoroughly enjoying the absolute beatdown he is going to suffer this week. I only regret that we won't be able to do it again in the playoffs.

QBs generally fall off a table around the ages of 36-39. They start missing passes because they simply don't want to be hit any more.

And typically that is pretty accurate, but I don't see those signs from Rogers. Physically he looks the same to me, I don't think he has hit the age cliff yet. Rogers being so vocal in the media, disagreement's with coaches that has become public, etc I have much more of an issue than his play on the field with the exception being yesterday. I think the guy has simply lost all confidence in the organization as a whole. A lot of his flaws aren't major issues when the team is winning, but you hit a bump in the road and it magnifies. He needs to find a way to pull a Brady, go to a loaded team that can expand his career a couple more years, and let Green Bay hit the restart button.

The packers look like a broken team. Aaron Rodgers, looks like he doesn't even want to be in the field. Dallas, should blow out the packers, and show the rest of the NFC what they can expect, when they see us.

I don't see us blowing them out. I will be happy with a win no matter how.

It will be a much tougher game than many expect it to be.
I think we can run the ball on them, and Dak will have some success.

I am concerned about our run defense. And AR, though is not looking as good as usual, but it doesn't mean he is not capable of having a good game.
If they run the ball with success, it can open up the passing game. Where Fields shredded us with the run, GB is capable of it as well, plus AR > JF in the passing game.
