Green leaves practice again

its early may....
i guess its never too early for "I told you so's"

here's to hoping the young man gets in better shape and makes an impact by his 2nd year.

I don't think the "I told you so's" will come out in full force until he has another injury or two. He was not a popular pick with most fans due to his injury history and the other players that was passed over to draft him. It sure looks like a reach pick to fill a need instead of him being the best player available .

I agree I think that is what you and DD are saying. I also agree you can't label a guy a bust after two practices in May....heck I worked out in the yard yesterday and it was down right miserable for me. I also agree with DD and others Green was a slight reach. I wish the Cowboys would have gone RB there but they didn't which is why I would like to see them trade green to the Rams for Mason. I just think with Barksdale on board there is some wiggle room there and the Rams need OL.

I guess this is where all the experts around here have to dig in their heels and hate Green for the rest of time.

"He was taken too early" "He is always injured" "I wanted Ajayi"

We needed an OT and drafted an OT. It has been a week. End of story.

Green was drafted to be a swing tackle and possibly a starter after 1 season. If the team is forced to start him in 2014 for an extended amount of time, you have to worry how he'll hold up. But the same can be said for any OT that's taken after the first 50 or so players in the draft in any year. Those types aren't taken to start in year 1 on good teams. Green has the size, feet, athleticism and skill to eventually be a good NFL player. He needs TIME to develop. So this criticism after 4 practices in May is just ridiculous.

Two two practices are not label worthy. His injury history is. I think injuries will just follow him through his career. He is just one of those players.
