Yeah, I like it so far but still trying to get the hang of who is behind the post. I've got my smartassometer on high alert to locate some kindred spirits. The other thing I've noticed is that it is a little more concise here so my loquaciousness with the keyboard will have to be condensed. Ya know, I never intended to get long winded, just couldn't find a stopping point because there was always one more thought that I feared I'd never think again or worse, if I didn't share it, it would stick in my head and I'd slip into madness.

I love Sarek, dude is great. He already got his own welcome thread closed, that may be a record here. He was one that I really liked exchanging posts with because he's so black and white about his opinions.

DoctorChicken is a kewl moniker, I agree. Wonder if Londonboy is coming over and educating the folks here with his delicacy he's so proud of. He may have to prove that's the real name of that or they'll bench him for sure. I always took his word for it because he's British and they talk cool.

I would imagine quite a few are trying to figure out just what's going on over there. And heading up that group would be the mods. I read between the lines on OSF64's post and he did not seem happy and I never saw anything from ksk or Quick and I've known them since I joined and before they became mods. I don't know what it will end up being but I thought it best to leave before being asked to depart the premises.

The mods did seem blindsided by this. Most of the mods were offline for off-season. I remember when KSK became a mod. Then again, I remember when Chetos became a mod and then he vacated the premises. Yeah, the group here seems cool and there are more familiar faces. Some people actually used their same names too! There are some things to get used to board-wise, but overall I think it's going to be great.

Howdy y'all, I am CouchCoach and I have a typing problem as you can see from my moniker. Nothing like having a typo with the first thing I type here. I usually go back and correct typos as I think faster than I type which is in no way bragging since a snail on downers could type faster...and better.

I am a Hog and that's not a Commander Hog but a Razorback. I was living in Little Rock when Booger and Jimmy won the school's only national title. Booger is my nickname for the owner/GM/face of the franchise because I think a billionaire caught picking his nose on national TV to kick off his Big Top is deserving of a nickname. And Booger is not an uncommon nickname in the south, which is our fault for losing the war.

I am an older dude so I am a boxers man because wearing briefs is nothing more than the sad act of trying to regain one's childhood.

The Cowboys were my co-favorite along with the Cards from 60-68 and the Ice Bowl changed it. They became my team and I've never looked back.

I am new here, obviously since I am in the New Members forum, and will go looking for the Old Members Forum as soon as finish my introduction. Do they have a nap time over there? I like naps and sometimes people think I am disinterested but they are wrong, I am totally disinterested. A nap time when we all lay down on our little blankies would be cool and I might put on briefs but just for that.

I was, until yesterday, a member of the DC Forum for 10+ years and while I love football and the Cowboys, I do have the tendency to wander off on other topics and they've decided they're going to enforce the rules that they've ignored for 10+ years in favor of the entertainment value we had there.
