Greg Ellis, radio interview, just said that the Cowboys have made plain to him that he doesn't fit. When you go from 80% of the snaps to 15-20% they have made it clear. Very interesting thing to say on the Cowboys radio network.

Ellis sounded like he had enough, and says no hard feelings etc, but made it pretty clear that he won't be back.

When asked if "those words" had been spoken to me he hesitated and said well it was quoted that they'd prefer heavier guys at end, and then indicated that it would be his choice as well to be elsewhere by saying "and it's me too" (implying he doesn't want to be back under the circumstances.

He says he doesn't fit and that dropping to 10-15% of the plays told him clearly that his future here is "non-existent". (I'm 90% certain that is what he said).

Sad. Hopefully we can trade him for a mid round draft pick, he's still signed for one more year at least no?

I would hope that we hold off on this decision until we are sure that Parcells is returning.

It would be chaotic to be releasing good players in light of a possible coaching change.
