We won 9 games with Dak. Cooper Rush won 3 of 4 proving that Dak isn’t that much of a difference maker even though he is a better player than Rush.

That's just silly. The offense went from ~20 points a game to 30+ after Dak came back and that is with having Clifford Franklin as his #2 WR... A 10 point swing in ANY NFL offense because of a single player is ridiculous and only fools would discount it.

To be fair, Dak has had much more to work with than Daniel Jones. Other than Barkley, I can’t name a standout WR the giants have. And their oline had been trash for 3-4 years

Team game is right. The only other comparison is stats, and he falls short there, too. You have no argument.
Who is trying to argue ? Pointing out it’s a team sport … will it make you feel better if i say “ Dak is the reason we always beat the Giants “

there better ?

I don’t even think Jalen Hurts is a better quarterback then Dak. Just like Jalen, Daniel had one good year last season while Dak has more good years the both quarterbacks combined. I see the haters want to go by this season alone. I guess now we all think Geno Smith is a franchise quarterback. Dak beats both NFC East quarterback with career stats, win percentage and QBR. Dak’s bad season he still had more touchdown passes then both quarterbacks and he missed 5 games. Give me a break. Let’s see what happens next season when teams have an offseason to scheme.

Only a melvin would say a bad QB contract is no excuse for failing. Not only do you have a not good enough player on the field at the most important position but you've devoted about a quarter of your cap space to him.

So in other words you said...."A bad QB and less money to spend is no excuse for not contending."

We are dumber for having read it.

Other than that you make a good point.
Excuses are for losers. This organization has 5 rings. You want to be a loser go root for Amari and the Browns…y’all can use the excuse of Watson contract to make you feel better at night….

This is silly. We won 12 games with Dak so no we wouldn’t win 12 with Jones. And Jones isn’t on a rookie contract, he’s also being paid 40M. So tell me would you rather have jones at 40M or Dak at 40M?
LOL, that's why I specifically said Jones on a rookie contract. All things being equal, I'm not taking Jones. I just don't think he's that much worse that I wouldn't take him over Dak if he was on a rookie deal.

Wins and losses Rush can get us to about the same spot Dak can.

Dak is a better player but it’s not a huge difference in wins and losses which is all that ultimately matters.
Yeah. The bottom 10 offenses in the league missed the playoffs. Rush led the 22nd ranked offense.

Again missing the forest because of the trees. I think you are doing it on purpose. Just to win an argument.

What was plainly obvious Rush's performance got progressively worse. Against Rams he passed 100 yards. Offense scored 13 points. Defense essentially 9. He fell apart against eagles.

So short term the team had some success. Not a long term solution by any stretchnof imagination. If you think Rush could do the same, and really believe that then I have abridge in Brooklyn I like sell you. Its cheap and will make you tons of money. Great deal I tell you. Just IM me and we will close the deal and you will be rich beyond your dreams

It’s so insulting to say Rush can get us where Dak has. Just insulting lol. It should be insulting to anyone who understands football.

Well Jones took the Giants as far into the playoffs as Dak has ever led Dallas so what does that say about Dak?
What does it say about Romo? He took them as far as Romo ever could but let me guess Daniel Jones is having a better career than Romo?

It's not insulting. It's stupid agenda driven drivel to male arguments against Dak, with the 4-1 outcome masking what really happened.

Give me Ravens defense of the yore that allowed 10 points a game or less and i will take Rush. Reality is we don't have that defense.

Have to point out that giants did better in playoffs than dallas. They knocked off a better team in wc round, and got eliminated
by Phil who wound up nfc champ.
Dallas beat a lesser team in TB in WC then lost to SF who got trounced by Phil. Even if purdy doesnt get hurt, I think
Phil beats SF convincingly
Judging by results, giants were 3rd best team in playoffs.
NYG beat a team in the playoffs that we obliterated off the NFL maps. Well ok then.
They won by 7 points then got obliterated by the Eagles.

No way they are the 3rd best team. not even close.

The best part of all of this is that W/L are not a qb stat.

When people. A few in particular say “rush had the same results” it’s an insult to the rest of the team. Football wins and losses are a team accomplishment. Rush having success to me means the team is in a good place. To say the offense is the same with rush is a joke lol.

So because the ring was 27 years ago that means you are ok with not ever seeing another SB? I’m not. I don’t even remember those rings. I want to see a ring in 2023….
The point is Dallas is really no better than the Browns the last 27 years in terms of Super Bowl appearances.
