With the exception of a very few QBs, you're only as good as your supporting cast allows you to be. Daniel Jones has never had the receivers and offensive line that Dak has had (this past year coming the closest). Season ending injuries to Barkley in back to back years basically torpedoed any chances of him having any balance on offense. His O-lines paled in comparison to what the Cowboys had. In short, if they had switched teams, I doubt Dak would be a starter, and Jones would've taken us much further in the playoffs, if not a SB.

If you dont like picks Jones is the poster child for picks.

Jones went thru 2 of the worst coaches I have ever seen, and yes they were much worse than JG.
He had a good rb, but then he got hurt and was out all the next season, and it took time for him to get back to close to what he was as a rookie.

his OL sucked and giants defense has sucked for years now.

Dak has always had a pretty good overall team since day one.
Last 2 seasons he had a very good defense to help him out, for awhile he had cooper and lamb, 2 round 1 wr's !
Always had a decent ol, except during the chaz green game lol.
not great coaching, but decent coaching in mike and JG and KM and linehan.

Last season henike in wash, poor OL, poor defense, and no talent on offense, maybe a couple of players when healthy, and then so so coaching.
Hard to look good in a bad situation.

This really isnt tough stuff. Dak is a top 10 QB. That is a proven fact.

You dont pay him 50 mill and you cant cut him until you have another talented youngster to take over. The team is too good right now to dump him and start over. Were making the playoffs and were at least a slim contender. With a few moves we can be a legitimate contender.

There are some guys you can give the poor coaching and team excuse to. Trevor Lawrence had it. Got help and looked significantly better. Daniel Jones is not that guy. He has had help. It’s funny the worst coaches…worse than Garrett are currently employed and he’s not. Hell McAdoo even coached Dak as well lol. The excuses y’all give these guys lol…..

Oh, i don't really care, and I didn't list my actual opinion. I was only posting here against people who were claiming that jennings said anything anti dak or that this was being used for ratings. I think he gave a valid opinion of what could happen this year. We will see.

Jones went to a horrible team, with inconsistent and questionable coaching for much of his career.

Imagine if Dak had gone to NY, and Jones had come here. A tremendous amount of the success or failure of a QB depends on their coaching and teammates.

Many promising young QB's have their careers ruined by being drafted by a horrible team, and expected to be an immediate savior.
