He was looking great in the first game against the Giants. I'm surprised he wasn't hurt worse. The injury looked ugly.

I'm not one of those guys that say a guy is a bust after one year. That's ridiculous. Let's see what he can bring us next season. If he's a healthy no contributor, then he can be labeled a bust. Lawrence has just started to look good.

He looked pretty good week one as well until he got hurt. This is the only thing that gives me hope. As I stated in another post, not a huge fan of him being scheme fit or his build.

Teams ran on him constantly at Nebraska. No surprise there at all. Yeah, he needs to put on 30 lbs. and he absolutely can with hard work, nutrition and maturity. No doubt it was a ''red shirt'' year.

Agree, I love his upside and think he can make a big contribution as a pass rush specialist this year. But that said, its kind of nuts to say he should be plugged into a starting role at this point.

Too hard to judge he got a severe injury. dlaw only showed up 1 game last year and 4 this year.

He certainly didn't make the immediate impact that he was expected to make, although injuries derailed his rookie campaign.

Verdict is still out as he was injured and the entire team played like trash this season.
