I think, realistically, we're looking at a new defensive coordinator (Kiffin's done) and possibly Art Briles as offensive coordinator.
I think UT will throw a ton of numbers at Gruden, as well. I think Gruden's style of coaching would translate very well to the college game.
in what world would art briles come and work for Jason garrett? Garrett is assistant coaches kryptonite right now. He is not a head coach and no one will want to work for the guy when this year is over. This is pretty laughable. The guy is not coming to the nfl and no one on this staff will be here next year.

Honestly, I have never been a huge Gruden fan, but when you have been coachless for 3 and half years this would be a gigantic upgrade.
I'm not a big Gruden guy either. BUT he wouldn't be outcoached every game like Garrett is. Just think of the improvement that would have made during Garrett's tenure.
Agreed. Briles does not need to accept an OC job that's for sure.
no reason to and definitely not under a guy who is a disaster and answers to whatever jerry tells him.
no veteran coach who really has his heart in it would work with either of these two.
After another disappointing season, Jerry always does something to reel us all back in.
That's what he does.
Speak for yourself. I don't buy his BS.
The problem is that you state all of this as if it is fact, when they are actually all 100% your own opinions.
Again, grain of salt, but worth a thought. Especially because there has allegedly already been some contact.
Hard to read that post, but I would welcome Mike Zimmer back to coach our defense. I don't think he's leaving Cincy, though. They have a pretty good working relationship going on up there.
Cowher's been sitting at a desk for years and gets paid to say things on television that get attention.
Come on, theebs. The team is not performing up to our pre-season expectations but the Monday-Tuesday-Wednesday-Thursday-Friday Morning 20/20 Hindsight Quarterbacking is a disingenuous way to evaluate anything.
