Did the Dallas Cowboys make a mistake not re-signing Brandon Carr this offseason? The answer is no. Even if Carr goes on to lead the league in takeaways this year, it’s unlikely he would have done so in Dallas. And his presence on this young Cowboys’ secondary would not have changed the fact they lost so badly in Denver over the weekend.

Dallas looks so stupid, not that hard to keep some of the DBs, Church or an upgrade in Ward if not all, there was unused Cap moneys floating into lost and spaced. No luv for DLs like Calais Campbell or difference makers like Tyrell Prior.... HELLO!

The giants offense is trash and has been for over a season. Not a good indicator.
It was good enough to defeat us twice last year and go further in the playoffs than us, so I'll take the win. However, I'm not as certain their offense is garbage as I am that we were very lucky to not face Beckham at full strength.

Let's start with the premise that The Landry Hat tends to be overly bullish and defensive of moves the team makes.

So with that in mind, yes, they made a mistake in not bringing Carr back. Why? Because they replaced him with a worse CB in Carroll. So from that perspective, they made a mistake. Parting with Carr, in theory, was not a bad move. Parting with Carr to bring in Carroll was a bad move.

Newman couldn't stay on the field here and he had attitude problems according to a couple other players and heresy from a coach. Glad he left. Sometimes guys don't get serious until the door hits them in the hiney and his was one of them.

Newman was a very good player his time here. Fans just didn't like him and weren't interested in looking at his play honestly. He didn't just suddenly get good when he went to CIN and then continue to be good when he went to MIN.

They had one of the worst offenses in the nfl last year and still do this year. Why do people keep saying they went further then Dallas in the playoffs? they did not.

He is a good player. But not 5th pick in the draft worthy. Not even close.
