Does anyone know the max fine? I'm going to guess a gamecheck is probably the max.

I don't know about suspension maximums -- the Titans might jump in and discipline him before the league does though.

More than just a suspension. His actions call for banishment from the league.

I remember when the Packer's defensive lineman slammed dunked McMahon to the turf WAY after the play in Chicago one time but I cant recall to many others where there was such deliberate intent to injure a player.
A friend of mind just reminded me that the Browns cheapshotted Bradshaw back in the day but who else remembers such a despicable cheapshot compared to today's?
I remember a Monday night game in which a DE from Minnesota deliberately punched Flozell in the....package(if you know what I mean).
I think it was Duane Clemons.

Hopefully, the league will make him the sacrificial lamb and suspend him for the season for a clearly blatant act that could be deemed a criminal assault if Gurode or the Cowboys press charges.

Didn't Courtney Brown get a season ban for attacking a ref a few years ago? Surely this is just as bad, if not worse.

That was one of the dirtiest acts I have seen in the NFL in a while he deserves a 4 game suspension.

This is worse than what Brown did. The ref was ignorant in that case and decided to throw a flag filled with I believe BBs in a guys face and Brown basically knocked the guy on his butt. This is FAR worse.

I'm a woman and I know we have a reputation for being emotional, but I almost cried when I saw that replay. He removed AG's helmet and then intentionally kicked him in the face while he laid there defenseless. Call the police, Andre!!! Press charges. I mean it.

Ezra Johnson wasn't it?

I think he got the rest of the year off.

Awful move by Alberta, and he kicked him TWICE, not once. He should be gone for the YEAR, PERIOD!!!!!!!

An article on NFL.com says he actually protested the initial flag...you gotta be kidding me. Punishment should be a 2 year banishment, $50,000 fine, and seven kicks to the baby maker.

The guy intentionally pulled AG's helmet off kicked him in the back of the head, then he stomped on his face... Now that was intent to do bodily harm to another person. Thats the use of a deadly weapon and dealy force. I am sure the police won't look into the matter, bc it was during a game, but do believe if it wasnt in a pro game there would be charges brought. HE TOOK AG'S HELMET OFF!!!! look at the replay!!! I am fuming

I thought that happened to Solomon Page, but you may be right...

it's unfortunate - not only the cheapness of the injury, but that the league will most likely hand out a watered down punishment and minimal suspension.

As someone said, this is a real litmus test of the Commish...

I remember a (preseason game, I think) in which Refrigerator Perry literally picked up Neil Lomax (Cards) and slammed him down head first. I don't think the ref even threw a flag. Gene Stallings argued for a while and then started to lead his team off the field. I remember the announcers being aghast that the game was going to end right there, and wondered "if he could do this". Somehow, Stallings was talked back onto the field and the game went on, sans Lomax if i remember correctly. Can anyone back me up on this w/ more details?...
