This is a serious stretch of games for our Cowboys. Many prognosticators and fans believe we must win the East to even land a playoff birth. I almost feel that way too--not all the way, but leaning towards winning the division.

I usually dismiss gut instincts/feelings, but I have to say; handle the Giants, and I feel really good about beating down the Eagles, and I mean really good about it come Thanksgiving.

That's as far as I will prognosticate. What's your gut tell you?

Even if the Cowboys come out and stomp on the Giants, it won't have any bearing on the Philly game the following week.

I actually have a bad feeling about the Giants and yet think we will beat Philly on T-day... really, not worried about the Fecals.... but seriously, until there's serious consistency season after season with the same tried and true unit.... how can you tell? And even teams like Denver go out and lay eggs in this 'new' age of the NFL....

I have a good feeling about both the Giants and Eagles games and making the playoffs. Not sure why, given our history, but this team has a whole different feeling about it. And this may sound strange, but it's our defense that is giving me this confidence. I think they have a lot of very competitive, high character guys and are far better than most think.

As many people have said, if we can't beat the Eagles/out do them when they're starting Sanchez, we just don't deserve this.

We play the Bears, Colts, Giants, Eagles x2, and Commanders. We should come out of this at worst 11-5, but honestly should go 12-4 or 13-3. The Colts pose the greatest difficulty, but then again this team laid an egg playing the Commanders, so we still don't know who they really are.

My gut is just about useless, but I think we're a better team than the Eagles and a big game is coming from the Cowboys on Thanksgiving. Assuming, of course, we handle the Giants.

The 6-1 start doesn't mean anything if they crap the bed the next 6 games and end up once again watching the playoffs. That Commanders loss still sticks with me. It makes me think this is the same team that will find a way to come up short at the end.

As flawed as they are, they are no more flawed than the team they're competing with for this division.

It's all there for the taking. Now take it and make some real progress.

This is the year
The 2 best teams right now are NE and GB and we can play with either of them though it will be VERY tough to beat GB in GB in late jan, -20 degrees has a way of sapping your desire to play

My gut feels full because I ate some Sicilian pizza from pizza palace. I will eat some more in the am for breakfast.

My feeling is if the Cowboys take care of the Giants I feel they'll beat Philly on Thanksgiving but it definitely won't be a beat down. The last time Philly came to town they beat the Cowboys in an elimination game so don't expect an easy game. The Cowboys have not looked very good at home this season having sustained all 3 of their losses at home and they barely escaped with a win in OT vs the Texans at home. The last home game the Cowboys played vs the Giants that game was a battle until late in the 4th quarter. With less than 6 minutes to play the Cowboys only held a 7 point lead on the Giants. I fully expect Philly to give the Cowboys all they can handle this could very well end in a nail biter.

Their fast pace offense is going to be a real challenge and if the Cowboys defense isn't set it can result in some big plays. The Cowboys have to be very carefully of Sproles coming out of the backfield. Philly will try and get him out in space so Sanchez doesn't have to take many shots down the field. Sanchez has real issues with pocket awareness when he's had take shots down the field which has resulted in 6 sacks and 5 fumbles this season. I expect Philly to try and run the ball with McCoy and get Sproles out in space. The Saints were the only team the Cowboys manhandled at home this season and the Saints have been having issues on the road all season.

Yep. Not much different from previous years. Every year it's, "Well, we're still making the same mistakes, but the NFC East is so pathetic that it's still ours to lose." And then we lose it. Hopefully this year is different. We have looked better but I still don't trust us. And the NFC East looks incredibly winnable right now. NY and Wash are done and Philly is relying on Mark Sanchez. Is there much more we could ask for?

I have a bad feeling about the last 6 games. I think they will be doing good to win 3 games. Hope I am wrong.

Just look at the last 3 years and you'll get a sense of how people feel. Excited all the way to the last drive, of the last game, then sick to your stomach.

I'm hoping that the season ends differently this year, naturally, but I'm trying to keep my expectations low.

This team is different then the other 3 seasons. Strong OL play with a very good running game could turn the results around. Eat the clock, control the game and this team should be just fine. Get pass happy and make Romo do it all and they'll have the same results.

My gut feeling is the Cowboys are one hit on Tony Romo from being toast.

Barring that happening, I think they win the division.
