1. Which players from the below make the 53?
2. If you think there is one, who is the surprise cut that most think is safe?
3. If you could only select four from below, which four?

QB: Ben DiNucci
RB: Rico Dowdle
WR: Malik Turner
TE: Jeremy Sprinkle, Sean McKeon
OL: Ty Neskhe, Matt Farniok

DT: Justin Hamilton
DE: Bradley Anae
LB: Francis Bernard, Luke Gifford
CB: Reggie Robinson, Maurice Canady
S: Israel Mukuamu, Jayron Kearse

1 Bradley Anae
2 Maurice Cannaday
3 Sean McKeon
4 Jayron Kearse

Additional Comments:
- As McCarthy said, " we know Anae can rush the passer " but when you're scratching for a final roster spot at end of the DL, you have to stay healthy to outperform incumbents and
new comers. Supposedly cleared to return to practice and he has to impress in preseason to catch up.

- i've just not heard much of anything from/about Nyskehe, i just dunno how he is performing in camp. is he practicing or out hurt.? is he struggling or holding his own ?

- One thing thats' bothering me is how i'm hearing about "everyone" on the DL being impressive, that's not a good sign for the OL reserves, imo

- McKeon is said to be coming on, catching everything and developing/improving a good feel for passing game - add that to his specialty as an in-line blocker and that
Will come in handy when Jarwin gets his usual ding and nicks.

- Sprinkle has had that one great practice and i've not heard anything else since. But i really do think we carry the usual 4 TEs.

- Cannaday has been a pleasant surprise, and already considered a SP ace, he's impressing in coverage and INTs. i think he'll beat out Goodwin.

- Kearse supposedly is having a good camp, add that as a SP guy, he'll be the 4th and final safety spot. Beats out Israel M.

- i see Farniok more to PS than 53 roster; idea move for emergency PS.

More comments:
- Robinson has dropped off again since rookie OTAs- needs spectacular preseason
- Bernard missing ton of time; team may look at NFL final cut to replace Bernard, Gifford
- Turner drops off since first wow practice, SP guy vs Cannaday, Kearse, etc. Not carrying 7 WRs
- Hamilton is a camp body, heard more from even Watkins than Hamilton.
- Dowdle ? I think he’s gonna be special teams/emergency 3rd back – there will be no FB in Kellen’s Offense.

2. If you think there is one, who is the surprise cut that most think is safe?
3. If you could only select four from below, which four?

QB: Ben DiNucci

OL: Ty Neskhe, Matt Farniok

DT: Justin Hamilton
DE: Bradley Anae
LB: Francis Bernard, Luke Gifford
CB: Reggie Robinson, Maurice Canady
S: Israel Mukuamu, Jayron Kearse

Keep DiNucci, McKeon, Neskhe and the best performing of Robinson, Canady, Mukuamu or Kearse.

It looked like Canady, McKeon, Turner, and Dowdle were the standouts from the HOF game. I should probably add the fullback to the OP list too, IMO he could easily push out Sprinkle. I wonder if Mukuamu could make it as a big nickle ahead of Kearse or a guy like Noah Brown.

DiNucci and Robinson’s stock went down.

I think the vast majority of these names are gone.

I think Malik Turner coud potentially surprise and stick, as well as Sean McKeon. I've heard he continues to have a great camp while Sprinkle is not.

Nysekhe has apparently not looked impressive, so I think it could go either way with him.

Right now, I'd say that Hamilton, Anae, Robinson, and Bernard are on the outside looking in. I think Canady is in at this point in time.

I think Mukuama and Kearse are both on the 53 as of today.

Muk has some ability, like to keep him around.

Answers below.
1. Which players from the below make the 53? In bold.
2. If you think there is one, who is the surprise cut that most think is safe? Don't think any of them are surprise cuts.
3. If you could only select four from below, which four?

QB: Ben DiNucci - Are you serious?
RB: Rico Dowdle - Has the 3rd back and ST role from last year wrapped up.
WR: Malik Turner - Killed his chances Thursday. Practice squad if he is lucky.
TE: Jeremy Sprinkle, Sean McKeon - I would cut Sprinkle tomorrow honestly.
OL: Ty Neskhe, Matt Farniok - Nsekhe looks washed. Farnoik should muscle onto the PS.

DT: Justin Hamilton - Who?
DE: Bradley Anae - He will continue to get the shaft.
LB: Francis Bernard, Luke Gifford - Not sure if their is room for one of these if they go deep at DB.
CB: Reggie Robinson, Maurice Canady - Canady sticks unless he gets hurt. Robinson is borderline but looked more comfortable.
S: Israel Mukuamu, Jayron Kearse - Kearse is on borrowed time. Mukuamu needs to stand out on ST

Not really many guys on the bubble
Most lists include guys who’s fate is sealed
DeNucci was never on the bubble
Guys like Robinson, Hamilton were never on the bubble
They had to have great camps to even get on the bubble
Anae
Kearse
Brown
Goodwin
Hill ( may get saved by injury)
And maybe one or two more are actually on the bubble
Those are guys who I think had a real shot at the roster and that’s at risk now
Maybe one of the rookie WR had a chance
But McKeon was never really on the bubble
They really like him
He could have put himself on the bubble with a bad camp but he was gonna be a guy they wanted to keep
These next couple of games are huge for these young WR’s but it’s a uphill battle
CB is gonna be a battle which is a good thing and refreshing to see

Rush & Gilbert need to join the Italian not a Stallion, Dinucci as well.

We should see things get in motion as cuts come from around the league....I don't think the Cowboys spend any money on a backup though unless Dak shoulder gets worse. Most likley Gilbert is your backup if I had to bet on it.

1: Dowdle, Sprinkle, Neskhe, Farniok, Bernard, Canady, Mukuamu, Kearse
2: Neskhe will also say it is possible the 5th+ LBs are on other rosters right now.
3: Dowdle, Sprinkle, Canaday, and the last spot is either Farniok or Mukuamu. It's close but I thought Farniok played pretty well at guard.

I think the following get cut. In parentheses will be who joins the PS:

Ben DiNucci (PS)
Malik Turner (PS)
Jeremy Sprinkle (PS)
Hamilton
Anae (PS)
Gifford
Kearse (PS)

Rico McDowdle has a chance. This team needs to dress more than just Zeke and Pollard.

my understanding is there is a max of six veterans on PS but I’m not sure these guys (Sprinkle, Kearse, Turner) would settle for PS and think they could get on a list somewhere.

I'm watching out for Justin Hamilton a little more. I had him not having a chance of making the roster and still think it's a long shot, but he's actually one of the few true big men we've got. I have Gallimore, Urban, Watkins, Odighizuwa and Bohanna making it ahead of him and maybe Hill, if he doesn't start the season on PUP.

I don't think they keep more than 5 big guys, the same you have ahead of Hamilton, and I'm assuming Hill is on PUP. I expect Watkins gets the boot when Hill comes back.

I mostly agree with this except for McGovern at guard. Admittedly, I haven't see it in person, but from everything i'm reading and seeing, CWill is impressing at guard. He might be the starter instead of McGovern.
