I totally agree on DeSean Jackson. He would have made a much bigger impact with the Cowboys instead of Mike Jenkins ... with his "matador tackling."

Rams running back Steven Jackson would be a good addition to this list ... when the Cowboys passed on him in the first round and later took Julius Jones in the second during the 2004 NFL draft.

I liked Julius (early in his career anyway), but Jackson probably would have been a more sensible choice.

More draft second-guessing: In the 2006 draft, both Antonio Cromartie and Santonio Holmes were still on the board when Dallas made the ill-fated decision to take Bobby Carpenter.

Those were the first two names that came to mind.

I also thought of Oliver Ross.

Christensen is an obvious one, as is Jimmy Smith.

Darrin Smith played pretty well after he left. I hated to see him go.

There's really not too many.

This thread (unless I read it wrong) is supposed to be about players who were actually on the roster but went on to decent careers elsewhere.

For the same reason I forgot to include Woodrow Dantzler and Reshard Lee on this list.

I think you could include Norton and Gogan as they actually did something after they left. People like Larry Brown, Alvin Harper and Jimmie Jones didn't do much after they left except cash paychecks.
