Guyton and Carson

Considering the draft was just over 6 months ago and he was a 5th round pick now forced into action when he isn't ready, that is an overreaction.
Get outta here, you were the biggest of them all.

Exact problem with this fanbase. All they go off of is based on what they hear and are told.

Ridiculous

Strongly disagree. At this point they should play every snap. We are already looking at 2025 since 2024 is over and the more experience those guys get the better they will be.
100% they need the experience! Cowboys should also consider giving someone else experience in place of Steele, and get the young safeties involved more.

Heck if Dak is missing significant time, I may even want to consider looking at Lance if Rush isn't playing well.

There's zero sense not letting these guys start and play every down possible going forward, they will get good experience and we will know if they'll be able to improve. By the end of the year and we see no improvement at all, time to worry.

We now know Mazi is a bust just because he played and never got better.

Zero sense? There's a lot of that going around. Too many emotions....losing sucks.

Aside from Dak and MM struggling, these two rookies should not see the field again in 2025…

Guyton kills drives with either penalties or sacks.

Carson when playing gets cooked religiously.
And he can’t tackle…
Carson can tackle. He is just banged up in the shoulder. Guyton is banged up too.

Like Big Dog said, it's time to get all of these young players some reps. I'd strongly consider moving Guyton to RT, as Steele is really bad, and a Smith/Guyton combo at OT makes a bunch of sense. Otherwise, let em all play and learn the game in a lost season, rather than having them cut their teeth when the games actually matter.

People have talked up Richards as a tackle; let him start in place of Steele
Bass is a maybe so start him instead of Martin

I'd be more concerned as to why Carson sees the field over Mukuamu who's been here 4 years now.

guyton is going to be a solid player for a long time.
he needs snaps.
experience.
won't get that standing on the sidelines.
he showed plenty in how well he handled and held up vs myles garrett back in wk1.

carson needs reps as well.
plus,we have no other options.

both these young guns are the least of my concerns with this team.
future is bright for both.

No business being on an NFL field.

Amd to think this board was crowning him the "steal of the draft" during training camp :lmao2:
You can find anyone saying anything.

I recall people mostly saying he was an quality third corner with all the college starts he had under his belt. There was not an expectation that he would be starting and letting teams get 7 weeks of film on him.

I do like how you have set it up as you vs the fan base on the strength of that. Then grandstand the other as a problem. I suggest looking inward.
