Hamstring Injuries - We Ready To Talk About Woicik?

What we need is someone else posting their "insight" into Yoga.

The response for the first one was really cool. LOL!
Well: we know it doesn't involve stretching and some people like to "hot box" with it.
Sounds like a druggie cult to me... Which makes me worry about Demarcus Ware, all of a sudden. He liked that cult stuff...

Seems like sock crack pot Christian wrote this who thinks everything that wasn't created out of the word of the lord is satanic.[
Would you like me to post more, maybe the original yoga books. Lol. You guys are wrong all day long!

But but... what about my druggie cult theory?

Are you really saying yoga involves no stretching? If so, I'd prefer not to hear anything else from you until the tinfoil helmet is taken off. @lockster

never said so stop trying to put words in my mouth. Post what I did say and learn. Then ill accept ur apology.don't care for your false premise or false dichotomy.

I'll spare a lengthy opening post about this, because most Zoners already have a baseline opinion one way or another, but I'm interested to see where the thoughts lie now.

Question is in the title: are we as the fans good to go with Woicik with the continued hamstring injuries? Yes or no, and why?

Mods - a poll would be great too if you still do those.
Good question.

The first thing you have to do though is remove from consideration any Free Agents or Rookies that were unable to take part in the offseason strength and conditioning program.

The problem is, when you do that, the issue that looked like a mountain then turns into more of a mole hill.

The other thing you have to consider (as I understand it) is many times pulls are a result of the player not taking care to be hydrated going into practice and/or not using proper technique during the stretch portion of practice. And, by the way, they should be both stretching before and after every workout.

Lastly, you have to throw in the players diet. After all, if they are not implementing a diet designed for the type of activity being a professional football player requires, once again, that's on the player...and not necessarily on Woicik.

With all of the above in consideration, it's really hard to point fingers, unless you have insider information that answers all of the above questions in the affirmative on the part of the player. In other words, if the player is in fact doing their part, then, yes, Woicik does in fact have some splainin' to do.

What I don't understand is how so many ppl could disagree with me and not at least look up the subject first before posting. Seems like all your guys statements have become so ironic, false, and a total contradiction to truth. Laziness will get u no where.

Uh, dude, I've worked yoga into my workouts for a decade. If it's not about stretching, then what is it? Step off.

Dangit... I just pulled up a Yoga video.
It's nothing, but stretching! I can't do that shiznozz!!! Where's the drugs?

read the article and learn. Look up more for urself while ur at it. Yoga incorporates stretching, but involves far more. You can do all the stretches in the world without ever incorporating "yoga" into ur routine.
