Because some of us don't ever quit like so many here do.Come on man....its been 25 years, and the same idiot is still charge. Why wouldn't the negativity be overwhelming?

Size-wise, I agree. He's been with the team for over a year now (PS last year) so they must not think he's got the speed/quickness, or perhaps limited football knowledge given his background, to make such a transition.
You're just a better fan than those that quit.Because some of us don't ever quit like so many here do.
He was on the Cowboys practice squad last year.
He can hit the weight room more and modify his diet if he needs to pack on healthy weight. It's not true there is nothing he can do.Perhaps the concept of a REAL offseason did not sink in? The kid has some physical maturing to do and short of puttin him on roids there is nothing that can be done to speed that up. His physical talent however is evident. At least enough to hang onto and continue to develop. IMHO of course.
That's the understatement of the year. You're just a better fan than those that quit.
Episode sucked. You didn't miss much.Oh well, my freebie HBO ended yesterday - what will I do - the horror!
It doesn't need to be said. You know it, I know it. I'm sure others know it.That's the understatement of the year.
One of my best friends and coworker is from Ethiopia. He grew up in a fairly well to do family back there in the 60's. When they had the civil war in the early 70's he was away at college in Canada.. He said they came through and seized all of his family's land and his father had to flee to keep from being killed. At least at that time they would not kill the women and children (like they do now) so his mother and siblings were spared and allowed to continue to live in the family home but all the land was taken from them. Things would eventually stabilize and his dad (and he) was able to be reunited with the family but it was never comfortable again. I would love to visit Africa one day and all the historically significant sites there and in the Middle East but frankly I am not willing to risk dying to see them. When I see stories like this kid and his family I thank God that I was born in this country.. Even as screwed up as this country was when I was born back in Mississippi in 1960.. I was still given a 100 mile head start over those folks. This country is not perfect and never will be.. but it's strength is that as a collective society, we are not afraid to try to be. We get a lot of things wrong.. but we keep trying.. That's all we can do.
Worst hard knocks so far ever filmed

Some of the posts here make it seem like a lot of so called fans doesn't like football.
But those things I mentioned will speed up the process. You didn't say anything about this year until right now. I agree with the timeline you laid out.I didn't say there was nothing he can do.. I said there is nothing he can do to speed up the process. Yes weight room and diet will get him there over time.. But it won't be this year.. and last year's offseason was too irregular for him to do what he needed to be doing as only guys who were hurt and receiving treatment were allowed to be at the team facilities for most of the offseason. I don't think that was lifted until OTAs right? So he spent 2020 on the PS then the offseason on his own until May.. Not enough time in the program to get done what he needed to get done. 2022 should be the target to see something out of him.

He definitely has some strength. I know he was probably going up against a 3rd stringer, but he bull rushed a 300lb man and threw him on his *** on one play. You make a good point about his football knowledge. I can't remember what they said he grade was at the time, but a coach asked him if he ever played football and he said no. I think most of the players who are starters, started playing at the Pee-Wee level. So he has a lot of catching up to do.
Plenty of places in Africa where you don’t have to risk dying anymore than going to a big city in the US brotha. If you want to save up and take a trip I definitely suggest Ghana, one of the most stable and successful countries in Africa with a rich history and culture. One of my best friends and coworker is from Ethiopia. Why did you watch them?I can’t speak for him but I’ve seen every Hard knocks ever, and so far this year is terrible.
