Size-wise, I agree. He's been with the team for over a year now (PS last year) so they must not think he's got the speed/quickness, or perhaps limited football knowledge given his background, to make such a transition.

He definitely has some strength. I know he was probably going up against a 3rd stringer, but he bull rushed a 300lb man and threw him on his *** on one play. You make a good point about his football knowledge. I can't remember what they said he grade was at the time, but a coach asked him if he ever played football and he said no. I think most of the players who are starters, started playing at the Pee-Wee level. So he has a lot of catching up to do.

He was on the Cowboys practice squad last year.

Perhaps the concept of a REAL offseason did not sink in? The kid has some physical maturing to do and short of puttin him on roids there is nothing that can be done to speed that up. His physical talent however is evident. At least enough to hang onto and continue to develop. IMHO of course.

He can hit the weight room more and modify his diet if he needs to pack on healthy weight. It's not true there is nothing he can do.

The episode was not as good as the first but it didn't suck. It was an accurate depiction of actual events and advances the telling of the Cowboys 2021 training camp and preseason.

One of my best friends and coworker is from Ethiopia. He grew up in a fairly well to do family back there in the 60's. When they had the civil war in the early 70's he was away at college in Canada.. He said they came through and seized all of his family's land and his father had to flee to keep from being killed. At least at that time they would not kill the women and children (like they do now) so his mother and siblings were spared and allowed to continue to live in the family home but all the land was taken from them. Things would eventually stabilize and his dad (and he) was able to be reunited with the family but it was never comfortable again. I would love to visit Africa one day and all the historically significant sites there and in the Middle East but frankly I am not willing to risk dying to see them. When I see stories like this kid and his family I thank God that I was born in this country.. Even as screwed up as this country was when I was born back in Mississippi in 1960.. I was still given a 100 mile head start over those folks. This country is not perfect and never will be.. but it's strength is that as a collective society, we are not afraid to try to be. We get a lot of things wrong.. but we keep trying.. That's all we can do.

This post was a roller-coaster of emotions for me. I appreciate you taking the time to post that. I have a lot to say about these types of subjects but I don't want to get into trouble for derailing this thread because I'm sure some will complain. But a few more thoughts if ya'll don't mind. My wife and I donated to this church group in Liberia. I had no idea how Liberia came to be. Africa has tons of history and culture. I would love to go but I'm a very VERY picky eater. That's what would bother me. Check out this video. It's crazy!! This is what people have to grow up with. I can't imagine. My heart goes out to these kids who have to grow up in these types of surroundings.

You can pay a guide to go to visit Africa? But again, the food. If you don't eat their food it's a sign of disrespect. When you have some time to kill watch Harald Baldr's videos in Africa. I was so moved by them. Trust me it won't be time wasted. You'll feel like you visited Africa. Peace, brother!

Worst hard knocks so far ever filmed

Not gonna lie when the episode started with oline ***** in yoga poses, and then went to Zekes chode problems it didn't ever seem to recover. Tough to come back when you go so low, so fast.

They didn't capitalize on the Rams practice enough either. It just wasn't all that great of an episode.

They could change the name of the show to "The Kamara Family Hour" and it would fit.

They talk about his teammates here and there, but true Kamara fans will just need to be patient through that.

Guess they had to find someone they know won't make the team to play that role.

The show is boring....but that's exactly what I want it to be. As little drama as possible.

It's about finally being a perennial contender for me, not a TV show.

I didn't say there was nothing he can do.. I said there is nothing he can do to speed up the process. Yes weight room and diet will get him there over time.. But it won't be this year.. and last year's offseason was too irregular for him to do what he needed to be doing as only guys who were hurt and receiving treatment were allowed to be at the team facilities for most of the offseason. I don't think that was lifted until OTAs right? So he spent 2020 on the PS then the offseason on his own until May.. Not enough time in the program to get done what he needed to get done. 2022 should be the target to see something out of him.

But those things I mentioned will speed up the process. You didn't say anything about this year until right now. I agree with the timeline you laid out.

Sorry if I was not clear. When I say "speed up the process" I am referring to the physical maturing. For instance if you are a skinny teenager you can lift 9 hours a day and not put on much muscle until your body chemistry allows it. Obviously every person is different but most us guys go through a few transformations with our bodies.. As teenagers we go through the growth spurt phase.. Then in the late teens and early 20s once the growth phase slows down we start to fill out.. and then in the mid to late 20's we become "a grown *** man." That's when we are at our physical peak.. We are the strongest and fastest we're ever going to be. If we are active and athletic, we can stay at or close to that level for a decade or better. If we are a couch potato we pass from that phase to "dad bod" fairly quickly. Generally speaking, there is not much a person can do to accelerate his own growth and filling out .. Yes you can waste it by not being active and doing the work.. but doing the work doesn't speed things up per se. It just enables us to capitalize and walk through the door that Mother Nature opened for us.

From very briefly paying attention to Kamara.. He doesn’t know how to use his hands.. That’s a skill most have to learn but you can overcome bigger players if you know how to get their hands off of you

Plenty of places in Africa where you don’t have to risk dying anymore than going to a big city in the US brotha. If you want to save up and take a trip I definitely suggest Ghana, one of the most stable and successful countries in Africa with a rich history and culture.
