I loved the first episode. I had some good laughs, especially with the banana microphones!
Bananna mic was awesome.

They seemed to cover the following players:

Keon Lattimore - Talked about rookie struggling a bit. Showed several drops, Garrett telling him he had to be ready to go. Had him talking to big bro Ray

Patrick Crayton - Talked about the drop. Said he didn't want to catch passes in march from Romo at a basketball gym. It was funny, not lazy or lack of work ethic. Had a nice competition between he and Pacman to catch and hold 6 punts
Pacman Jones

T.O. - big dude, had him speaking a lot and being a great example for the younger receivers.

Witten - Changing diapers to being a great pro.

Jason Garrett - Lots of Garrett speaking time. He talked about how if the players don't have confidence then they need to walk out the door. Told them they must study. How he did not like the coaches that were telling him how good he was when he knew he was mediocre. He appreciated the coaches that were going to get on his arse until he got it.

I'm sure I missed some stuff. I am biased, but I thought it was a great show.

Lowber - I did not know that he didn't play receiver in college because his college didn't have football. He met up wtih Garrett's dad, and he gave him the confidence to try out at a pro-day. He talked about how Garrett's dad (I can't remember his name) was like a father figure, and he was working hard to not let him down.

Surprisingly, not one word on Amendola.

Yeah, but did you see John Garrett. He's so gonna break that kid and turn him into something special.

I saw it going in one ear and out the other.

I thought he half assed everything he was told...

That was me, i would be double timing everything i was told. 1.2 million is the reason he is useless....

That...was...awesome...

Loved the way too short snippet of Felix Jones draft discussion

Witten is worth a jersey investment. He's all-time.

The Barber block was even more amazing in HD surround.

Jason Garrett has much more personality than I thought; Brian Stewart is impressive.

Maybe Peter King isn't high- the way those clips were cut, Bennett looked like he did indeed have "body language problems", if not an outright attitude problem. Didn't like his slow reaction to the coaches.

Crayton isn't the guy his quotes would indicate. I like his approach to the season and will be rooting for him

Didn't know about Lowber's connection to the Garretts.

Was nice to see MBIII lay out that LBer in high def.

Odd that there wasn't a single mention of Mike Jenkins.

Don't think that it was very nice to televise that call with Glenn's agent.

Jason Garrett,"Swagger, what is swagger? Romo's got it, Witten's got it, and TO's got it. Swagger is confidence. If you don't have it , then there's the door."

Man, I'm really liking every aspect of our team.

I kinda had the jitters watching that show. Wow, just wow.

That was really good. I agree about the camaraderie. Even D-ware was hanging out with the rookie Felix Jones (setting him for the Pacman shower - talk about making it rain...) The rookies singing was also awesome. I'll never look at bananas and plums the same for as long as I live.:laugh2:

TO running on the beach? Now that was for us ladies.:D

Overall, it was a great Part 1. Better than I expected. Next week's episode should be pretty good with the bus ride and San Diego game mixed in.

Great show. Enjoyed it all. Glad to see they spread the attention around a variety of players. We got some TO & Romo but then pictures of Witten changing his kid's diapers, Bennett being a typical all shucks rookie, etc.

Well done but not stupid or demeaning.

I'm not wild about Martellus Bennett's attitude.

Me either he didnt seem to take coaching very well.

Pacman was playing TO pretty darn tough in the footage they showed of it. He looks like he is ready to go.

Overall it was a great show.

My favorite parts of the show were
  • Garrett presence as a leader
  • Roy is improving to where they have to talk to him about not hitting our players to hard in practice.
  • The camaraderie of the team everyone gets along with each other
  • When Garrett ask the team do you know what swagger is then he said TO,Witten and Romo play with swagger and its means they play with confidence if you can't do that you need to hit the door.

I hope so, because Martellus was giving him some serious attitude. Not that he was mouthing off, but he was definitely trying to blow off his advice and not give him any eye contact. That was what annoyed me the most about him.

Bennett seemed to want to ignore everything John Garrett was telling him. He begrudgingly did what he was told. And to think, he was so happy to become a Cowboy, but doesn't want to do what it takes. I hope they get through to him fast!

On another note, Tank and Pac are really blending in well with the other players. Take that, mediots.

Garret's swagger presentation....got me pumped.

I loved Garrett's comments to the offense about how he disliked those coaches who always told him how good he was. He said he knew he wasn't a good player. The coaches he respects to this day are those who were honest with him.
