We're not in position to get rid of players. We keep changing out players and it just hasn't panned out. Keep who you have and build some type of coheision over time. Duke kept winning because they kept their players for 3 and 4 years. Those 4 year players were more mature even though they played against better talent.

Ditch the dirt, rebuild young, smart and talented, with direction. First Dallas needs a healthy QB, continue that process with a real Head Coach.

A near decade of Souless Red was clueless. His act has gotten older and less entertaining than Hardy and McClains haircut.

Lets go 0-16 without Redux, because he'll never make it through the process anyway, with strings attached. No more questionable Players or Coaches.

I think it is OBVIOUS McLain wasn't in shape in 1st few game back. Now, he looks like he did last year. While Hardy hasn't completely disappeared, he has slowed own considerably. My vote is McLain because a) he's the cheaper of the 2 and b) he and Lee look good together.

If we released McLain tomorrow, do you think anyone would put in a laim for him on waivers?

My vote is neither. They are both high maintenance head cases. It's hard enough for the head coach of the Cowboys to have some semblance of authority in his own locker room without adding these kinds of players to the mix. We have too many of them. Including the diva moron WR.

I think those two are guys you can have on your team if you have a really strong coach that has all the authority. Jimmy and Bill could pull it off, but not Garrett, and honestly its mostly Jerry's fault. I think everyone knows that coach can not hold them responsible.

With a guy like Garrett FA should be all about getting the mid-priced, solid veterans and get your stars from the draft.

The Hardy headache is over IMO.

There is no other shoe to drop, no pun intended(Holder hit Hardy with her heel).

We just got through Thanksgiving against CAR and Hardy was barely even mentioned.

No one can keep up the faux outrage for this long.

The question is his worth. I say at least TCrawford but we might get a loyalty discount.

Maybe 4/36m with 18m guaranteed(9m staggered for a year) and some sack incentives.

McClain for sure... This defense is a different defense with him out there. Not so much with Hardy

Actually he was mentioned and it was comical. One of the announcers, I think it was Boomer, listed Hardy's alleged sins and ended by saying he had insulted his former teammates by saying they were just another nameless appointment.

Which means there is absolutely nothing Hardy can say that won't be spun in some fashion. If Hardy said he was looking forward to playing Carolina, or avoiding it, they would make that into an issue. Hardy says its just another game - and they try to make it an issue. I honestly think if Hardy answered every question by pulling out the Bible and reading it out loud until reporters got tired and walked away, the national media would still try to use it against him.

I must have missed it but it was Thanksgiving.

I just don't see what else can be said if he doesn't get arrested again. Then they would just cut him and move on.

The weekly telenovela stuff is over IMO.

Neither. And not cuz of their extracurricular activities. They just haven't played well of late.

At this point, Hardy isn't as advertised. Could it be he played in the scheme better suited for his traits/with a better supporting cast in Carolina? Is the pressure/negative commentary from the media affecting him? No one knows for sure, but I just don't foresee him playing any different next year under Marinelli's scheme...and that's not worth $10-12M a year contract he will probably want after this year (no way is he getting $13M+). We already have to eat this poop sandwich of a contract that was drawn up for T. Crawford, so the idea of locking up $18-20M between two "pass rushers" that, simply put, aren't getting results, is not a wise investment.

Now, if the media turns their scope back on him now that Romo is out of the picture and keeps his stock low (no other teams are willing/capable over dealing the negative publicity/backlash of their fanbase) and he can be reeled in at $8-9M per.....there's something to consider.

I definitely want Hardy signed to a long-term contract, especially since he should be value priced compared to his ability. I'd also like to see McClain back on a 2-3 year deal, but only if the price was right.

Neither... Both have too much baggage. The less distractions the better off this team is. I like what I see from the young DL rotation. We need to draft a big/athletic middle linebacker.

I don't know, from what I hear, Hardy's still really well liked by most of his teammates from Carolina, and prior to his arrest he actually had a reputation for being a guy that was good for their locker-room... And neither Demarcus Lawrence nor Randy Gregory have shown me anything to make me believe that either one of them are near the player that Hardy is at this point. There's many ways we could use our 2016 first-round draft pick, but it definitely wouldn't be a bad idea to target the best pass-rusher in the draft, not to replace Hardy, but to play opposite of him... If you had Hardy on one side, and a "Demarcus Ware caliber" rookie starting at the other DE position, with Randy Gregory and Lawrence as backups/rotational guys, then you'd be pretty deep at DE, and maybe then we would finally see a more consistent pass-rush...

I'm all for drafting LB too, but ideally, not in the first... In the first-round, we definitely have to consider if any of the QB's are worth taking, but aside from that I would be hoping to snag the best DT or DE in the draft...
