Has Dak been hiding how bad our offensive is?

In 2019 we ranked #1 in yards per game and #4 in points per game with a bruised Amari Cooper, still raw Micheal Gallup, and Randall Cobb who only started 6 games.

and before anyone says it was because we were down all the time we ranked #3 in points scored in the 1st quarter and #4 in points scored in the 2nd quarter.

Come 2020 for the first 4 games Dak started we ranked #2 in points per game and again #1 in yards per game.

Unfortunately, He gets hurt and we see Kellen Moore coach us to a slightly below average ranking of #16 in both points and yards.

Are we wasting our franchise quarterback’s prime and top 10 wideout with doo doo play callers?
I don't think this of Dak at all.

Romo? Definitely.

He masked some awful coaching, player selection and overall leadership with his play.

In 2018 2 out of the 3 starting receivers Dak had were out of the league just next year. Cole Beasly was his #1 option.

it’s a miracle he had a 3:1 TD ratio 95+ passer rating and we still had a winning record even before they traded for Amari that season.

what quarterback is putting up numbers with out weapons exactly? After Rodgers lost Jordy Nelson’s prime it took him 4 years and Devante Adam’s to become the best WR in The league before he could crack more than 28 touchdowns in a season again.

Yes.. I buy the excuse that he is dependent on the talent around him.

We have to put a lot around him. I understand that more than most I think.

Cooper has been this teams MVP? According to what?

Just my opinion.

But if you look at how the team performed from the time he arrived all the way until he started sucking last season it is clear to me what the difference is between our success and failure is and it's his performance.

the best offenses are balanced. hard to have a running game without an offensive line. ergo, all that was left was to throw. unfortunately, zeke's predilection for fumbling put us behind the eight ball several games in a row. hard to spot the other guy 21 points and still win. it is possible some didn't see that part early in the season.
Not really. The Chiefs, Bills and Bucs don't even try to run.

So a quarterback needs a good team around him to win? Sounds about right. Lets look at who Mahomes has around him. Fastest WR in the NFL and the Best TE. Coupled with an incredible offensive mind in Andy Reid. Lets look at Rodgers. Devante Adams and a top 5 OL, coupled with one of the best D's in the league. Brady has a stacked offense and a very good defence. You see where this is going? TEAM GAME.

BTW. How did Wilson do against a good defence in the playoffs this season? The guy that WINS GAMES ON HIS OWN. How did he do?

Not really. They were 24th in attempts despite having leads all the time.

True, and they don't really have much of a need to with Hill and Kelce. Still, when they get in the red zone, they do use CEH a bit more than the rest of the time the O is on the field.

I mean maybe, but it's not like CEH gets a lot of RZ carries. He only had 28 on the year, just 44% of the team's rushing attempts in the RZ.

Here's the best part.....

Almost none of them do it while getting a big fat contract! Even the elites!

So that is why you pay the elites or guys that have rings and tell the Dak's to take a hike for that price.

You guys are so close to getting it and then your fandom kicks in.

No . Dak could not fully utilize the OL at its prime as he has issues reading and audibling from the pocket . This is why he almost always too the snaps from shot gun , and became so predictable. His running is also not at the level of Lamar or Murray or Watson etc . He is just not that good as many think . And the W/L record shows it .

Ok. Russell is ELITE right? You have said countless times how he wills his team to win and all your other BS about him.

Why couldnt he beat the Rams? Why couldnt he WILL them to win? And dont say his contract because he has Lockett and Metcalf on his team.

Russell is elite..

They gave him a fat contract.

Team deteriorates.

Now they are the fighting Russel Wilson's with no defense and some WR's.

LOL. To blame the defense for that game is such a cop out. Your ELITE QB threw a crucial interception that was returned back. And the OFFENSE couldnt score anything but field goals. If you are going to sit there and blame anyone. Its the guy you say is ELITE.

It just goes against your agenda and you cant ever admit you were wrong.

No.. I'm not blaming it for 1 game.. I didn't even watch that game.

I look at the big picture and not 1 game sample sizes.

Russell Wilson is actually just more proof for my "agenda".

We've certainly wasted his high level of play so far but it's still early in his career. Time will tell. Garrett and now Nolan are gone so the future looks bright.

His performance when Dak went down wasn't up to his usual level...also doesn't help Cooper is a part of a receiving unit that leads the league in drops for two years straight.

You have it backwards. The talent along the OL and RB when Dak 1st got here made him look so much better than what he was. When either the OL faltered or Zeke was out he was terrible.

So you aren't taking into account the injuries and horrible defense..? Yes the offense isnt t that good without the STARTING Qb...that's why there the starters and most important player on a team. How many starting QBs go down for a season and their offense still ranks high?!
