Has everyone finally come to terms on Dak?

Last time I checked our wideouts played like trash last week. They dropped a bunch of passes. Dak isn't Johnny Unitas. He did more than enough to get the ball to the guys. THEY FAILED HIM. Not the other way round. Dak is better than 90% of the NFL QB's out there.
Ridiculous.

Ryan Tannehill is better than Dak. Ryan Fitzpatrick is better than Dak. Teddy Bridgewater is better than Dak.

In the division, Jones, Wentz, and even Haskins look better than Dak.

Dak has the keys to a Ferrari offense of talent, and he drives it like a Honda Accord.

And now he can't run faster than Witten.

He's the definition of meh.

Last time I checked, and that's right now because I'm rewatching the game, Dak is missing every throw. Those guys didn't fail Dak. There is no excuse for drops on passes that are on target but Dak is a victim of his own inaccuracy. He is literally missing everything. Worse then I initially remembered. I urge everybody to rewatch this game and chart the throws. It has to be injuries, it better be because this is mind blowing. Has to be injuries people.....

There were a couple of throws that were on target and we're dropped, but for the most part, he made his receivers work too hard.

what's dak's excuse? ah, everybody around him isn't the best in the league. he would be great back when we didn't have a salary cap. He makes no one around him better.
I heard that statement a few times around here this week. How exactly does he not make people better? Just because he does not function in that same way that Romo did does not mean he does not elevate those around him. It's just different. I am no Dak homer. The guy has to work on hitting his guys in stride instead of throwing behind them and he's got to read the rush better. However, Dak leadership elevates his team. He makes people around him better in that defenses have to account for the physical aspect that Dak brings. He can run and he can throw. I get it, alot of you are mad right now. However, to some of us, we already knew this was going to be a train wreck before the season started and we just aren't mad. Work through your emotion and you'll start to see it. I'll say the same thing I used to say about Romo. If not Dak, then who? We've been lucky in having back to back QB's who give us a shot to win. We just need better coaching (and getting rid of Jerry).

not too sure about the leadership either. during the game last week i didn't see much from him other than setting sulking on the bench. I might have missed him firing the team up but it didn't work.

:lmao2:
Is everyone finally seeing that he's not the elite QB most of thought he was when he initially took over for Romo?

Do we still have some on here that believe he's top 5 or 10. And that anyone who says otherwise is a troll or eagles fan?

He's not the answer, and I pray we don't waste another season or 2 on him before we get it, like we did/ are doing with Garrett.

Cut losses early.

I'm glad he got greedy and said screw that huge extension.

#DontpayDak

I agree that he only won against bad teams, but he wasn't the problem in most of those early losses. He was playing well enough to win, if not for bad defense or other factors. This game and the Patriots game he was just bad.
you're a good guy with a level head and I agree with you.

I'll absolutely agree with those two games but I would give him the benefit of the doubt considering who the coach is. I say tag him this year and see how he and the new coach work next year.

I'm not saying we should dump him, but I am saying we shouldn't avoid looking around for a better QB.

Look at the coaches that have been around him since he's been here. Linehan, Moore and Garrett. Not very inspiring. I am willing to cut him some slack, tag him this year and see what happens next year with a new coach.
