Been saying this for a while now. They don't believe we can beat a good team. He lost them well before this one boss!

so again , show me any team where ryan was in the top 1/2 of the NFL.

**** tonight, show me long term results.

ryan is not a good coach and NOT the reason we lost tonight.

but the IGS must be heard.

and i've about had enough of it.

I agree with your point. Seems everybody is forgetting the 12 men in the field penalties , the disorganized defensive unit, the predictable blitzes and the total amount of confusion that was going on with Ryan as the DC. Ryan was far from being the great defensive savior that he has become as of late on this board. With that being said, I would take Ryan over Kiffin all day, every day. Kiffin can do one thing to improve his stay in Dallas and that is to step down like he did at USC. His defense is outdated and don't fit the players. It was a bad hire on Jerry's part due to these reasons. I am not saying that I didn't want a change to the 4-3. I just wanted a version that is proven to work in this century.

I wasn't impressed with Ryan and I'm not impressed with Kiffin either. It's hard to really judge them without healthy players, though. And neither of them had/has that with Dallas. By the way, the Saints D didn't seem confused and disorganized under Ryan tonight. Hmmmmm.

Blame the headcoach for the players looking lost.

Waddles ate tons of poo for Garrett's unit not knowing routes or where to line up.

I was told it was a matter of "team culture" and that switching to clownshoes would fix up all of this.

i think kiffin for sure has lost the defense particularly the back end and linebackers. you can see alot of frustration on their faces the last 3 weeks. i dont think it helps that when things are going haywire, you are up in a perch with very little connection with the players.

In fairness to the defense, when Hatcher tapped out for this game they were in trouble especially against the run. When Lee went out, it was a wrap.

Yeah, and against the pass as well. Hatcher has been so good at pressure up the middle this year, that he's probably made Selvie and the others on the outside look a little better than they are. Without any real pressure up the middle, Brees had time to text and check his email before throwing the ball tonight.

Rob Ryan also has the benefit now of being on a team that doesn't put his injury depleted players on the field for 3/4 of the game. They get Dallas off the field and then Breeze and crew get the ball and have long drives down the field, causing the defense to be a lot more rested. On the other hand, we constantly 3 and out and put the D back on the field after a couple of minutes and we wonder why they start melting down at the end of games.

Garrett's job is probably on the line in these last 6 games. Jerry likes him, but I think he liked Switzer, Gailey, Campo and Phillips too.

The offense started us from going downhill. HOw many times has this battered and bruised defense given our offense opportunity after opportunity and not capitalized on it? Our offense has been stinking up the joint since the Denver game. Since then we have gone downhill. Maybe Romo's age has caught up with him. My thinking its just that this offense has stunk for so long that its finally caught up with is. Having an offense that can't sustain drives and score hurts the defense. Somehow we need a new playcaller with a new playbook. Garrett's playbook just flat out sucks.

Jason Garrett should thank his lucky stars that Aaron Rodgers is hurt. Another game like tonight would pretty much seal his fate and with Rodgers out that's one less game he has to worry about.

I was always impressed with Ryan. Very impressed. And bummed/angry when the Cowboys fired him.

Rodgers will be back for the Cowboys I do believe. At least he's scheduled to be at this point.

This team is on a buoy out in the middle of the ocean floating around aimlessly. We go in every which way without really going anywhere or getting anything meaningful accomplished. We have problems ALL over the place on this team - players and coaches.

As I've said before I'm a believer in both sides of the ball being interconnected. Now giving up 40 first downs and 4 QBs having 400 yards isn't on the offense. But I do believe Ryan's D is better in NO because their offense puts pressure on the other team and it allows a D to them dictate play at times. Last season we were consistently horrible on offense for 3 quarters and then used the hurry up. The D was gassed by then. I've seen some of that this year....Lions. But overall this is just a bad scheme. I would really welcome Garrett, Kiffin and the lot being thrown out. But I'm afraid we will win the division at .500 and Jerry will declare victory and spin some b.s. So yeah Garrett and the whole crew are lost.
