For Felix Jones? His best time at the Combine was a 4.44. Anything else is not true.5Countem5;2601716 said:Actually I've seen 4.36 and up...

Well, that's just silly. You should be able to look at him and easily tell he doesn't have great long speed. It's his burst that makes him very good. He gets to top speed immediately and doesn't go much higher than that. Felix had one of the fastest 10 yard splits at the Combine. Only Chris Johnson had a higher 10 yard split (out of the top backs) and that guy is just a freak of nature.CowboyMcCoy;2601727 said:Yeah, I know he is faster by his combine time. I read that too. Now I Can't find the link where I read T.O. ran a 4.1 something, at one point. Oh, well, guess it wasn't my thread.
I do think Jones is capable of running a 4.2.....

4.47 seems to be the Combine time...

He's never going to get as much training as he did pre-Combine to get his 40 time up.CowboyMcCoy;2601734 said:Which is what I'm saying. He has fast-twitched muscles. And when you look at him, he could use a little extra training. His body isn't worn down since he shared his duties in college. He can take it up a notch, I think.
If you want the official Combine times, go to NFLDraftScout.com5Countem5;2601748 said:Here's a Rivals article showing him out of high school at 4.38:

Again, I've seen him at this, 4.4-4.44,4.47 so does it matter?
He's pretty dang fast, agreed?
